You're nominated based on how you do at the state tournament, and you get into the state tournament with districts. Basically, at all the tournaments throughout the year, he had more 1's and 2's than I had, so he went to finals more often. That's why he got picked for nationals over the Junior who had a better track record than he did. But that doesn't make me happy about it. And that doesn't excuse the judges at the tournaments, who don't know how old we are and thus can't judge based on that. @Halo: People who do that annoy me so much.
