I might just be going through an "I'm sick of everyone and everything about this school" phase, but I really think most of them will be easy to let go of. If I'm about to get jumped and I have a gun on me, there are so many things that could go wrong. You can use nothing, or you can use a circular saw. As you probably know a circular saw can be a dangerous tool, you also should know that the circular saw would make cutting the lumber a lot easier.
