Depends on the band and venue tbh.

 

Pretty much all "live" recordings have a kind of energy to them that studio versions don't, but they're not as clean and if the band/venue sucks they can sound like crap. With a good band/venue though, the song still is just as clean and you get the energy as well.

 

EDIT: This is the example I use for good live music at its best..

Speaking of shaking, apparently there was an earthquake somewhere in Nebraska recently. A friend in Lincoln just felt an aftershock. I didn't know this.

Iron Maiden has to be one of the only bands I prefer listening to live rather than studio.

 

Iron Maiden is amazing live. Best band I've ever seen live AINEC.
