You won't be immediately scared, or shocked, but the feeling of being helpless, or not in control will stick with you for a very long time, and will continue to peck at your conscious for weeks. I've read the majority of his books and when I think about certain scenes in the books, or how they work with each other, it's very unsettling.
June 8, 200917 yr The Washingtonians. Not that scary, but freaky as hell. (It's about George Washington being a cannibal and forming a cult of cannibals that wear 1700s attire.) I think the closest you'll get is by reading a book that's just a total 100% mind [bleep]. I think he should read 1984 if he's looking for something like that. It's scary in it's own right. It'd be scarier if you read about something similar to Newspeak in the newspaper/internet/news :lol: Doubleplusgood opinion, brother! Seriously though, I liked 1984 a lot. Fahrenheit 451 moreso. ^ my book :^_^: I don't play anymore, but I'm grateful I played through the best RS times!
