KingJD Posted June 7, 2009 Share Posted June 7, 2009 I got a task of 72 black dragons this time (oh yay)... but I usually kill normal black dragons since i can range/hally them from safe spot... However, they keep getting more and more crowded with people so I was wondering if any of you do your black dragon tasks killing the King. Is it worth it for me to hunt the KBD? (Yesterday I beat 3 range kids at KBD for 5 kills 8-) 1 kill started with them hitting a 50 with ruby.) Bloodrex Posted June 7, 2009 Share Posted June 7, 2009 if you plan to solo the king, only use one ruby spec. further specs will drain your hp a lot. I don't think it's worth it, because the supplies cost a bit and it takes some time before you actually get it back. The xp you will be getting is low (it takes long to kill it and you're going to be OD a lot if you range...) but it's fun to do, and you play the game for fun so if you want to have some fun go to the king Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lagatag Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 I do all my black dragon tasks at off peak hours so I'm alone, or at least have my own dragon. If you can't play at off hours, just do baby blacks to get it out of the way. It's nice to make a run to KBD once in a while while on a task for the slayer helm/black mask bonus, but really not worth it to do the whole task at KBD. KBD isn't what it used to be.
