giant mole worth hunting?

are the drops worth hunting the mole or is it just for fun?

First, you need to know a bit about the mole's drops.

 

It always drops either mole claws, mole skin, or a combination of both.

 

These can be traded to Wyson the Gardener for bird's nests.

 

Seeds from the nest can yield more than 100k if you're lucky. :thumbsup:

I used the dds and a halberd to kill the mole, that way I don't need prayer pots

Or just use proselyte and whip + defender/d halberd

Take full dharoks, and get down to an hp lvl that you feel safe at (I've seen the mole hit for 21s, so if you don't plan on praying, or plan on pray flashing, I'd stay a bit higher than 21 hp). Take a spirit terror bird and tireless run scrolls and you should be good. I don't like taking a dds because if he digs away at a few hp, your poison will kill him, and now you're stuck looking for your loot pile instead of the mole.

 

 

 

I enjoy killing him, I think its a lot of fun. As for profit, its not great.... You'd be better off doing green dragons or aviansies, but mole hunting is a nice break.

With a Terrorbird and void melee + a GS he dies fast. Also, range void is awesome. Not "worth" hunting but still fun to hunt.

Yea this works extremely well if you have the gear (I use void range to poison then void melee to finish)

 

 

 

Use emerald bolts to poison the mole then switch to your main weapon.

 

 

 

Its a fun thing to do.

 

 

 

Not sure on the time per kill as it varies from player to player, but if you sell the claws/skin on the GE its about 15k per kill (3 is about the average) with them alone.
