I loved it, forgot Bill Murray was in it, but I did remember that a "celebrity guest star" was going to be in it, and was excited when it was him. Didn't even realize I already knew until I saw my June post :smile: .

 

I didn't know Bill Murray was in it. Even more of a reason for me to go see it. He is one of my favorites.

Yeah, part of the joke is that you weren't expecting him.

I assumed everyone had seen it by now, also I made that first post in June when we didn't know he was just going to be a guest star.

Starts off amazing, the middle gets boring as hell then the ending is amazing.

There should have been a lot more zombies from when they lose there car to the park. Seriously its a zombie film no-one wants about 20 minutes of people looking for a car and driving a car.

 

Seriously a mixed film for me, I love zombies and with a film titled zombieland you expect a lot more zombies then they give you.

 

IMO they should have cut most of the middle (almost right from when they get lose the yellow car to when they arrive at the park) and extended the time they're in the park for. I laughed once during the whole period of time mentioned above, just once. If its not funny cut it out or replace it.

I liked the movie a lot, although some of their zombie survival techniques were ridiculous. Someone already mentioned the whole turning on the power to the carnival rides, I mean..wow. And how stupid do you have to be to pretend to be a zombie as a "joke" after the zombie apocalypse, in front of someone with a shotgun?

Well, I think they thought he wouldn't actually shoot, and weren't they still high when they came up with the idea? So of course it'd be pretty stupid, but seemed funny.

The ending was extremely disappointing but I thought the movie was pretty good.

Michael Cera was pretty good in this movie, too.

Saw the film last Friday, I wasn't expecting much, and didn't get much, but was still enjoyable. It was a pretty average zombie movie, but Shaun of the Dead is far, far better.

Looks alright. Baring in mind budget differences, it'll be hard comparing.

 

One of the reasons Shaun of the Dead is such a brilliant film, is that it makes you feel as though it could actually happen. eg, weapon choices. Also, you gotta remember the actors in SOTD were mainly fresh from Spaced.

I saw this with a good friend. I went in expecting a [cabbage] movie. But this was pretty good. I jumped in my seat at the beginning lol XD
