June 27, 200917 yr see my goal sig? I'm getting 99 attack for the cape and because it has a use. End of story, although getting for example 99 fletching just for the cape while the skill is useless isn't as smart as getting a useful 99.
June 27, 200917 yr Most skills have basically nothing at its back bone, such as fletching, after 85 its just grind and you won't get anymore new abilities. Then they turn to the cape... On the other hand, summoning has way more stepping stones that are actually helpful, 52, 67(68), 88(89), 96. I would get 99 cause I can. Total Level 2247- 11x 99s All Combat Skills, Slayer, Summoning, Woodcutting, Herblore
June 27, 200917 yr Well, eventually you need 99's in every skill to complete the game... Why play a game if you aren't intending to try and complete it? Getting all 99's isnt completing the game....200m exp is completing and in my opinion...nobody ever will. :)

June 30, 200917 yr Most skills dont have use that lasts up to 99. I would have quit long time ago if it werent for skill capes. I see them as motivation, I dont see anything wrong with them at all. Just like my current goal of 99 runecrafting, what possible reason is there to continue runecrafting? 10x airs? 8x minds? Not even close, the skill cape is the ultimate goal.
