~A Mining Question~

Featured Replies

Hello! Recently been mining (at 80 now and going for 85).

Thus would like to know how long it takes for each rock to regenerate.

It's always been a mystery to me and really want to know.

Question: How long does each type of ore take to regenerate?

Answer: ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Please list. Forget that saying, "everything regenerates faster in a full world."

Well it depends on how full the world is, therefore it's an inexact science.

P.S. Welcome to TIF

See do not believe that because went to world 2 once and checked if addy regenerated

any faster than normal. It doesn't.

Thus you would have to continously hop worlds, which the waiting time is far less greater

than actually waiting for the ore!

Ya clay is pretty fast at regenerating. Maybe even less than a second. More like .5 seconds!

No, seriously it does... Monsters, tress, ores ... everything regens faster in a full world.

Dont bother with addy, or anything else besides granite for that matter. Just mine the granite until you are 85.

Doesn't really do much. Doesn't seem like it to me....

Runite takes 14-21ish minutes. 14 for a full world, 21ish for a basically empty one.

Speaking from experience, expect the full worlds to be full of people.

This is true.... Boomy, take it from people with much more experience than you, respawn times DO vary by worlds, there is proof.

Hope this helps, I found this:

I've been doing quite a lot of mining a while ago before rejoining p2p in both crowded and non-crowded worlds.

Here's what I've learned.

*Clay: 1-3 seconds (2 rocks will suffice).

*Copper, Tin: 3-7 seconds (3 rocks when using rune+ pick).

*Iron: Same applies as for copper and tin.

Silver: Around 1-1,5 minutes.

*Coal: The amount of rocks required depends on your mining speed and crowd in world, generally I find that at mining 90-95+, one will require 8-10 rocks to mine non-stop. I mined around 80 coal in 18 minutes, while superheating in the mines. I'd say around 1-2 minutes.

*Gold: give or take 2 minutes.

*Mithril: This will take anywhere between 1-3 minutes.

*Adamantite: 3-5 minutes.

*Runite: 5+ min?

*Gem rocks: 1-3 minutes.
