June 26, 200917 yr A friend of mine from BSE said that a mod came into their chat and complimented them too. This happening to anybody else?
June 27, 200917 yr It happened a fair bit around the time of the Jagex Cup; I think it is part of Jagex's plan for clans to try to have more mod activity. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
June 27, 200917 yr Makes me wonder if there are actual humans behind those accounts. Or its some bot that does a mass spam on selected clans...
June 27, 200917 yr Author No, it was definitely a human. He came into our chat and talked to us and stuff, answered some questions. No way a bot could have done that.
June 27, 200917 yr I remember Jagex stating somewhere that they're going to try harder to do things just like this: come into clans' ccs to answer questions.
June 27, 200917 yr There are plenty of old pictures with J-mods saying they love Gladz. There's also another one where Zezima says 'I wub my Gladz <3'. :P Proud Retired Council of The GladiatiorzClick here for our website - 110+ F2P Combat Requirements

But I also heard of instances of Jmods coming out and complimenting clans, pretty sure it's Mod MMG trying to make us feel more special and make them look more welcoming. Be careful, my men, this is a conspiracy!
June 30, 200917 yr I've heard of this a lot. I think they're just doing this to give people a bigger sense of involvement.
June 30, 200917 yr ^^ TBH I never see J-Mods, and when i did a few years ago before the staff change at Jagex, they never acted nice to me.... Of course i would be kinda mad if all day i was followed by lv 50- players asking obvious questions when i was trying to do my job.... ~I will always have some KO in my heart <3 thanks for the memory's KO unit~ Old troll. June 30, 200917 yr Yeah, the Jagex Cup was mainly some sort of 'message' from JAGeX that they really want to be involved more in the clans, because they (finally) start to reaslise they are a very important group in the game.

Strangely enough, some clans started shunning Jagex even more because of the Failure called The Jagex Cup. We really need to start acknowledging Jagex's help more often :|
June 30, 200917 yr They're trying to help but considering how clans are run now and how Jagex insists on doing things, they're really shutting themselves out. To embrace what clans have become would mean sacrificing what Jagex have already set as a standard with every other aspect of the game. Swearing, nh/h, independant forums and memberlists, etc. I love it that Jagex is trying to give a bigger sense of involvement and trying to make clan groups feel less like outcasts (because lets face it, we really were for a time.) But if they're not doing anything innovative, not a lot of people will go flocking back to the RSOF, y'know?

There is a huge flexibility offered by outside hosting that Jagex just can't match. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
