RU_Insane
Now I know that when minigames are first released, they aren't all perfect and they have some glitches, but I didn't expect this in the case of Mobilising Armies. It is a bit silly but here is a rant from the RSOF: (this was not my rant as I am F2P nor do I have >12.5MXP) LOGGING OUT DURING THE MA TUTORIAL MADE ME LOSE MY 350M CASH PILE. IT IS GONE, IT IS NOT IN MY BANK, IT IS GONE. ANOTHER CASE OF THIS-- QFC: 129-130-931-59124943 JAGEX, THIS IS TOO MUCH, YOU NEED TO ROLL THIS BACK PLEASE. QFC: 129-130-208-59125105 Ignore the caps, typical of a BAWWW RSOF forum ranter. But he does have a good reason here. Seriously, Jagex. You hold off Mobilising Armies for about half a year, and this glitch goes unnoticed? Or was it noticed or swept under the carpet? Even if it is deemed a little ridiculous because he logged out of the tutorial (Isn't there an "X" button to exit the tutorial or something)? or I could understand a little he needed to exit because it was too long or too boring, but come on Jagex. The guy lost 350M in a glitch you had 6 months to find and work on, plus the time before that. I also believe some Partyhat inflation will occur, as another one fell victim to this glitch and lost her partyhat set (First post page 5). How many PHats are there in the game? I think a loss of a whole set should cause a little inflation, at least. Naturally, they (the rnaters) are demanding a rollback. But I don't think a rollback allows you to get items back accounted to a glitch. My thoughts on this: This is why I wait a while before going to test out nay minigame by Jagex, no matter how much "QA testing" is performed on it : Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Jagex even started getting people to sign liability wavers before playing/testing out a minigame =p My advice before a big update: WAIT a while before trying out a mini-game, bank valuable items when trying out a new mini-game BANK your valuable/rare items CLEAR your Grand Exchange offers (remember the Run Energy update glitch? Most.Chain.Glitched.Update.Ever.)!* LOGOUT SAFELY when you are COMPLETELY done trying out a mini-game to avoid a loss like the above rant. *Partially joking on that one, as that glitch was exclusive only ot that update while there were several other updates that displayed cases that weren't, for the former and latter. I believe Jagex needs to at least pick some experienced players ot QA their updates/mini-games before they're officially released -.- or at least give some sort of reimbursement for a loss. Seriously. They are paying for this members feature, they were patient, Jagex holds it off for 6 months for "bug testing". Not even that is reassurement enough when you see that this has slipped through Jagex's notice >_> I agree with a quote on this forum: Either Jagex is deliberately destroying their game or they are getting stupider by the week RIP RU_Insane. Skull
Is this actually confirmed? Because about 10% of the stuff posted on RSOF is total bull [cabbage]. Oh and this looks like more of a rant. Emmentail
You believe the people on RSOF posting that they lost 350M and a partyhat set. Even if anyone only ever lost like 1M or something... Why have that much cash ouch at one time anyway?

Oh and this looks like more of a rant. Naw/ I couldn't give a rat's [wagon] as I'm F2P ^_^ just wanted some discussion I just noticed there was a post about this posted a minute before mine in this board that has pictures of replies from a Jagex mod debunking the ranter's claims. "BE ADVISED" is the title. You believe the people on RSOF posting that they lost 350M and a partyhat set. Even if anyone only ever lost like 1M or something... Why have that much cash ouch at one time anyway? The ranter in question has very good PKing and moneymaking stats and I doubt he would've used the rant as a cover to get items back that he lost on death, if he were lying, or whatever the situation would be if the ranter's claims are false. So I have plenty of reason to believe him. RIP RU_Insane. August 3rd, 2005 - November 11th, 2012. Master_Smither
Ya I heard about that :| They had all player mods with some fun orb experience test Kickabout before it was released I don't get why we couldn't have tested MA ourselves and have it no linked to our accounts on regular game play. On the other hand.....why would you take 350M in a tutorial let alone a partyhat set? Oh and this looks like more of a rant. 10%? More like 99% :| You must take rollbacks seriously though. Remember that for each legit player who lost something there are thousands of other players who *would* lose on what they got, especially now that a significant amount of time has passed since MA came out. But really, I can't say I'm surprised Jagex let a bug like this slip. Wouldn't be the first time... Emmentail
Maybe this is Jagex's way of nerf'ing the 26K cash influx... :D
Low C
I dont think partyhats will be affected by 1 set  Big time merchants have had 10-20 partyhat sets at a time so Im sure there are quite afew in circulation. As for the glitch I hope no one else loses valuables.
