Waterfiends are massively better then both similar to comparing green dragons to golbins for money making. P2P players shouldn't be killing those anyway, slower gp/hr, xp/hr and charms than all the best spots out there. Never hunt crims at giant rock crabs. Ever. They have a pretty bad drop rate for charms, and when they do give you a charm drop, it will almost always be gold. You will lose profit here as well. If you're really itching for charms though, I'd just go to Dust Devils since they require only a relatively cheap armour/inventory setup.
