You should raise your defense to at least 80+ and range to 85+ if you plan to range, and all combat at 85+ for guthaning.

I always use broad bolts, except for 50 diamond bolts for Jad himself. Broads are fine for Jad though, but I prefer that little bit of extra power against Jad. Broads are nearly the same in my opinion, just slightly less accurate/powerful. Your levels are fine for Jad, I had 70 range, 75 defence, and 57 prayer during my first attempt, and I made it to Jad with plenty of supplies left over. Experience with the Fight Caves is much more valuable than levels, though levels do help.

Also, SirHemen, for your high budget alternative gear, you said that with torag's helm you should use unholy book, but granite shield with verac's helm. Why's this? If I remember correctly, all barrow melee helms have the same stats, except for dharok's helm, which is weaker. Verac's helm is best because it has a pray bonus. Every melee brother has a weaker piece of gear, except for torag. Verac's chestplate, guthan's skirt, and dharok's helm are weaker than the other melee brother's gear. Torag's is recommended because of it's cheap cost, and it has no weaker piece of gear. But otherwise, verac's plateskirt and helm are better for their pray bonus over torag's respective pieces. Also, it's recommended to bring 3 range pots by muggiwhplar, instead of 2. But otherwise, SirHemen's information is excellent.

Torag helm have +6 more ranged defence than Veracs. I agree Verac is great but it's very expensive helm as well.

So if you can't afford Veracs, you use Torag helm (+6 more ranged defence)+Unholy book (More prayer bonus).

But if you use Veracs helm, you use a Granite shield because Verac's helm give prayer bonus already.

Granite shield = Gives you great ranged defence but takes -8 ranged attack bonus

Unholy book = +5 Prayer bonus and +8 Ranged attack bonus (+14 if you compare it to Granite shield)

I'd take diamond (e) for the 360's anyway as they take ages to kill even when potting and praying 5%/10% prayer.
