bigmoneyak
I can see the value of all the new agility shortcuts especially for slayer dungeon except I cant justify getting 85 for the very last one. Anyone that has it is it worth it? Or should I just ammend my goal to 81 for the final slayer dungeon cut. For general discussion not a direct question. Nabski
The best way to think about it is like this "which would be faster, to train the agility to that level, or to just walk around."

SenorTamale
The best way to think about it is like this "which would be faster, to train the agility to that level, or to just walk around." well obviously if you do it for an unknown amount of times in the future, it's wise to assume that it is...so it's basically always wiser to do the training....unless you got something better to do i guess.. dP_Crazy
I found this on another site. My help a bit on traing to that high of level. I did the Werewolf one up to 70. bigmoneyak
werewolf is cute but its more clicking for less xp it seems. Wildy still best. Guess ill decide once I get to 81 if I feel like getting 4 more levels. Just want to finsih this garbage then back to slayer! L_B_P
as dP_Crazy wrote, my friends and I can confirm this. Even you get around 30 xp les per round, you can still get more xp at werewolf per hour

scougre
werewolf is only beter ive you got a higher agil lev and use (super) energy pots. i dont fail alot at lev 70. and yes, agility is worth it leveling up.
frogact
The wolf course is longer, easier to fail, and you take much more damage when you fail. But you still get your xp when you fall, just hand the stick back to the guy. I'm sure they're factoring in pk's as well. My vote is for werewolf course. jfroggy
Sy_Accursed
I think that the current shortcutys vary in usefulness and unless you still need to complete the elf based quests that led to the teleport there they elf cliff ones are kinda useless, but this is a new feature and it has alot of potential i mean some obvious ones were missed eg climbing voer the pile of rubble the blocks direct route around white wolf mount from cathurby to taverly Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Sk8erfreak
Well I havent used the warewolf course myself, but my brother has. he ended up dieing because he let his HP get too low and the one obstacle did 30+ damage on him. In the wilderness course I rarely ever fall and when i do I only take 5-8 damage max because I keep my HP low, and it's nearly impossible to die. You probably use a heck of a lot more food in warewolf than you do in wilderness, meaning more bank trips... and its kinda hard to get PKed unless you aren't paying attention. Also that guide is made by one or few people, and can not be trusted to be entirely correct.. he just did 30 mins, then did the math for the rest of the numbers, which could be different depending on how much you run or walk. Then there is how precisely you click each obstacle, I know a few tricks in wilderness course to get the fastest possible lap (like moving all the way up to the Log, then clicking it, so your character doesn't move back a bit before crossing, same goes for ropeswing most of the time) 136 Combat, 2290+ Skill Total

Like jump really fast over the rocks and fence and come out to pick up stick early too. I take 19 super energy pots and 8 salmon. After all my pots are gone I bank and still have about 2 salmon left. And even if you fail u still get the exp. And you dont have to worry about any noob pkers. I dont understand agaility pkers, like we have anything but food or energy pots. lol 133rd to 91 runecrafting. 212th to 99 runecrafting - 145th to 99 constructionWhip drops: 38Dark Bow drops: 12Owner of fire cape: 7/30/

cerno
I've tried both werewolf and wildy courses. If you know how to make it so that your character "lags" when you click on the next obstacle so that you can make the fastest time, werewolf is faster. I know because I've done agility at those places from 60 to 72. I did wildy from about 69-71 and werewolf for rest. You don't really even need food for werewolf, just bring the ring and the ectophial. When you die, just use the ectophial to go back there. Plus there's no pkers in wildy. You'd have to take quite a while to get back there if you die. If you fall from an obstacle in wildy course, you don't have to go back up that ladder to a couple obstacles before, because basically what you want is the bonus exp. Only problem with werewolf course is that you might forget the stick but that won't happen much. I think my fastest exp in an hour in wildy was around 40k and in werewolf is about 52k. That's with agility pots of course. And keeping your hp low in wildy so that you take less damage from obstacles is like asking for somebody to pk you. Golvellius
I've done the werewolf course from 60 to 81 agility. The fastest xp I can get per 1hr while using super energy pots and skipping fast through all the obstacles is like 40k. Its usually 35-40k for me cause my attention wonders, I miss the stick etc.. I can't speak much for the wildy course since I stop going there at lvl 60. Cant really see the wildy course being better with all those failable obstacles that require you to do them again if you want the lap bonus. Plus I wouldn't carry super energy pots up there, would you? Exclusive Legacy Mode Player He just successfully trolled you with "courtesy" and managed to get a reaction out of you. Water_Faerie
If you're going to 85 just for the shortcut.. Absolutely not. The shortcut is horrible lol. It might help a couple times when you're doing something like the regicide quest, but it only takes off maybe 4-5 seconds, and helps less than any of the other, lower level elven shortcuts, imo. And the wild agility course is IMMENSELY faster exp. Something like 10 seconds less to complete a lap for more exp.

Dudeisadude9
Agility is quite helpfull in "sticky" situations, As in wildy, your energy comes back faster, BUT I guess it could be helpful for those shortcuts (especialy to get to that elf place) I dont think its wroth the time because it takes so much time to get xp, Maybe in the future, if jagex decides to change the combat system, agility will become a big factor in combat as in how fast you "swing" your weapon, giving the karils set special a good use, But i dont think its worth the your days of training just to "skip" a few seconds/minutes using that shortcut. Quit runescape...
