For armadyl, DFS is definatly the better choice. About the prices I really do not think the prices will drop unless JaGex updates PVP again, nerfing 76k'ing. July 24, 200916 yr The DFS has a relitively good use, and is necessary in some places, whereas the BGS is useless and only useful in GWD. So if you go to GWD often (Bandos) you should get a BGS over a DFS. DFS over BGS if you dont GWD very much though. But neither are even that great. Personally I would BGS if I went to GWD since the money could be made back relitively quicker than killing things with a DFS. I dont need a siggy no moar.

July 24, 200916 yr Neither. They both suck. Get a Blessed spirit shield instead of dfs, and bgs just plain out sucks. I would recommend spending the remainder on ranged, prayer or magic.

If you're strapped for cash go with the blessed spirit shield. The dragonfire is far better,however. If you're strapped for cash go with the blessed spirit shield. The dragonfire is far better,however. Actually, the crush bonus is the same (A tiny bit better), and most monsters use crush. As for the magic defense, I think the extra 5 range bonus makes up for the lack of 8 mage defense, if you use the maxed setup, since magic defense shouldn't be an issue at all anyway. Besides, if you are going to get hammered at +200 defenses, the extra 20 isn't going to help all that much.
July 25, 200916 yr most monsters use crush. Is there a source for this? Try basic logic. Unless a monster is using a sword or some other bladed weapon, it is basically punching you. And most monsters don't have weapons.

July 25, 200916 yr Based on the type of activities you just listed, DFS and Spirit shield is the best for you. If all you do is Range, Spirit shield. Otherwise, DFS has a more broad spectrum of uses. July 25, 200916 yr Wow, if he has enough cash or can make a bit more, he could probably buy a BGS and a blessed spirit shield :shock: personally, from what I'm hearing, I'd go the BSS over DFS. 15M extra for (apparently) minimal bonuses over a BSS just doesn't seem worth it. And BGS is only good for GWD, even though Bandos is my favourite god :thumbsup:
July 25, 200916 yr I believe the DFS would be a better choice, you can use it at AGWD, SGWD, BGWD, ZGWD, pretty much all GWD rooms, use it for DKs...The BGS wouldn't be as useful
