Heh, I was a little bit bored, so I figured I could make a new signature. I don't understand all those flashy photoshop programmes and so, so I just make my signatures in good ol' paint, they're not pixel signatures though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As you can see it's an abstract, kind of simple, thought I'd make a few squares and combine them with some colours add some small details. Didn't took me very long to make, was busy about 40 minutes, to figure out what I thought that was a good combination, still not completely happy, so suggestions are welcome. :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rate, suggest, flame or what ever you want. Just give me an honest judgement. :)

The only criticism I'll give is... add color? I dunno.. the white background is too plain, to only be using two or three other colors, two of which are grayscale...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think you should turn this into a like.. mini environment.. make tiny little two-pixel people, and cars, and like, a really really mini miniature of a city. You could use the same boring colors, but give it a sort of story, something that's interesting to look at.

There really isn't a message, just what I felt like while making it, it's rather impulsive, really, I think it's nice to catch a certain mood. :P I like using only one real colour and black, white and grey as the other things, keeps it nice and tight. Don't really feel like adding tiny pixel objects, since it isn't made for a story or something, and of course I am graphically incapable to do things like that.

I like it a lot, you could prolly sell it to a museum for a bajillion $s as an impulsive alternative piece....

Hehe, I doubt a Juan MirÃÆÃâÃâó-ish thing is doable for me on the computer. :P I thought it was a bit too crowded, it took me quite some thinking how to do the last two squares, maybe they are too much (the one with the red line and the lower left one.

To me it looks like it was done without planning. Sort of thought about it as you went, which most times doesn't give a good or desired outcome. My suggestion is to completely plan the general form of the picture in your head, and then make changes and adjusting the picture to something better or maybe discover an angle you didn't think of which works great.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Example, you could draw 3 general large shapes, then add a few smaller things on them / around them, then change details, but this is just one way to go about doing such pieces.

Exactly, that would look much better.

 

 

 

The squares placed as they are doens't look really simplicity effect, look more like randomly placed draws. If there were large and small squares not placed in that regular order it would look better in my opinion :wink:
