I'd like to add that unless you're on Earth and the troop movement is occurring on Earth as well, you probably wouldn't suspect anything. There are lightyears of space between most empires now, so people are pretty much ignorant about what's going on with the other empire...

Sere, you misunderstand. I sent ships to go with Dusty's ships. Therefore I knew about both mine and Dusty's ships. I raised my alert levels because in sending part of my fleet to another planet I have made myself vulnerable.

 

Ah. I see. I thought you meant that you were raising your alert level in response to Ross, but Ross wouldn't even know about you mobilising your fleet, so he wouldn't be able to raise his level.

Construction of my capital is complete. It now houses close to 100 million civilians, soldiers, and government officials. It is also the equivalent of a kent battle-station in combat, only with better armor probably. It's exact location is unknown, but it is within the local area. Also, it puts out 5,000 PP a year, and all of that is going to Heavy battleships for now. The way it works is similar to the citadel from Mass Effect, if under attack a protective shell will cover the entire city, only that shell will be bristling with weapons. The shell is essentially impenetrable by most weapons, due to its extremely high melting point and thickness. Once project Revent is done the armor will be improved.

Doom is the shell made out of tungsten by any chance? Also sere I am on earth so I have some cause to be wary...

Isn't aerogel better than tungsten? You can put crayons on top of a thing sheet of aerogel and put a blow torch to the bottom of it, and the crayons won't melt...

But a railgun would go right through that. But there are gel layers to insulate explosions, keep the internal temperatures steady and help deal with layers, as with most of my ship's armors, but the majority of the exterior is metal. And grim, parts of it would be conductive, but it would probably disperse once it hit the gel layers.

I think...basically...No one did anything because I locked the thread...then Rocco's computer broke and I had a few conversations with people about 'The end' and then Rocco came back and things starting moving again.

 

I think, even though the power ratings for the ships are currently upto date and on display people will still be annoyed when their fleet gets destroyed by an enemy they thought was inferior, which will hopefully draw people into a nice big war, which will help everyone relax after this silly period just recently where everyone got highly strung.

 

On a subject mildly unrelated to invasions can I get surface maps for Harrakis and Valasmaa

Chronos Matter Eater ships are now going back and forth between an unknown location, carrying a heckton of material for me to use.

 

I'm also going to start building an artificial planet with this huge amount of material, which will be right next to Zypherius. ETA is 25 years.

Construction is ongoing on Earth to Space Hedgehog style Cannon Defences. It's good, because you can use your entire workforce in constructing them, rather than being restricted by the number of space stations.

Well most of them are on the argument thread. In actuality some people just Pmed me....

ZPMs are done in six days/years!!!

Well even if I lose a battle if I ever get into a war, it'll be with my Away fleet, which isn't that big compared to my home fleet, so I'll have time to improve my home fleet before fighting again.

 

Anyways, production of a superstructure has begun, will be known as Gustaviara Station.

I have 2000 Chronos Harvesters at the moment, and an almost infinite source of materials (Although where this source is, is another matter.) so I can build myself lots of superstructures.

 

I actually think I'm underrepresenting my ability to build things, so I'm also going to start construction of a super Chronos Harvester ship with capacity thousands of times greater than any of the normal ones. ETA is 15 years on that one.

 

And then I'm done flexing my production-power for the moment.

My production capacity is pretty advanced, I have a system with a ton of natural resourced, and then a planet that's basically a giant shipyard. Plus I have a (shared) enormous research lab floating in the middle of nowhere, as well as my capital also floating in the middle of nowhere. Also, Project Gypsy is a continuation of project Andy, only more militarized. The first 15 years are mainly about increasing our software, while after that it's all about increasing production for it, which will increase by about 10% a year.

 

For the sake of it, I'll work on improving my mining and harvesting ships too.

My best ship except Atlantis so far, but are you sure you can can spend 240,000 PP on ships every day and still have used only 50%? You need the capabillity too, not only the resources.

Also I do not say I have more resources than Ross, only the capabilities to use the ones I have.

Doom has a ridiculous amount of production stations. Just ridiculous. :)

Mather, are you using the proper PP system?

As in, you give each of your ships a percentage, and then take the total PP cost to get a rating?

 

Because I seriously doubt you have 480k PP per day. That's absurd. I have 31.5k, and I have a larger population (Around 1.2 trillion by now or something stupidly high) and more resources...

 

And yes, I have the capability to produce my superstructures.
