Seraphi
I'm creating a new kind of space battleship, designed to be smaller and faster than my Rhadamanthus class. R&D should be done in 2-3 years, and the new kind will be called the Zephyrus class ship. I could do with those Quartz chips. Are they easily affected by EMPs? Wisp
How about ftl communication powered in the same way by an initial energy pulse, travels at 100 times the speed of light or something. Or 50. That way it still takes time, but not an unreasonable amount. So when you are one houndred lightyears away you'd have to wait a year to heare what someone said or wrote? More like a million times the speed of light. Yeah. Giant empires should take time to communicate. Otherwise you could spread over thousands of lightyears with no penalty. The_Mather1
I could do with those Quartz chips. Are they easily affected by EMPs? I think they would actually stand Electro Magnetic Pulses better than normal ones. How mouch would you need? Like 100 motherboards and 5000 normal sized ones? Nero
Also, Dusty, how did you manage to look at my AI? As soon as the drone takes too much damage, it wipes all its hardware and deletes the AI from its system... Seriously, I don't remember you ever posting about that. Captured them from the war. Didn't actually open them up and reverse-engineer them, just studied their behaviour and whatnot. The research took like 15 years, which is more then reasonable even if I didn't study the drones. Seraphi
Ah, well, that makes sense I suppose. Though to be honest, studying the beheviour of an adaptive AI is a little useless.

The_Mather1
Hmmm..Well, what are the rough storage capacities of each kind? The storage capasity is somewhere about 5 terra per normal and the motherboards could hold like 25 terra but are made to work as hubs, connecting several normal ones to the main computer or larger motherboards. Seraphi
Well considering I intend to use them in some new models of drones, I think I will need the motherboard versions. (Pity I can't use my supercomputer designs in drones, its just too big) I'd like to buy 1000 of the motherboard versions.

The_Mather1
I think 10 mother boards and 250-750 normal ones would be sufficient for even an AT-AT walker from star wars. There's no need to over do it, just tell me when you've figgured out how many you need and what you'd be willing to pay for it. I think someone doesnt understand what a motherboard is. I think you're talking more of a hard drive. I did say the motherboards were ment to be used as hubs. Twitter: @TheMather1

RpgGamer
Firstly: 1/5 done communication update. My offer to Malaysia stands and is waiting for a reply. Clones are $1250 per person for a non-altered human replicate. Any altercations otherwise are going to cost more. They can be picked up at any age after 9 months, then they are your responisibility. Transportation also will cost you a bit. I will need 5 million clones. Done . Just average clones? would you like to supply the genes? Can you alter the IQ of those clones, RPG? I know that some genes affect intelligence, so I think you can. I'll need about 5000 intelligent scientists, is 25 million okay (5000 each, I think) IQ is relative. Average clone will be an exact copy of whatever genes you supply. You give a smart scientist - you recieve millions of equal potential intellect. And I don't have too many gene altering methods, just thought process altering ones. So I could teach them things as they are raised faster than you could with your school system, but that would require more than 9 months (like 10 years or so). 25 mil will be acceptable for the 10 year process. Seraphi
I sent a sample of skin cells from my top scientists to your research centre. I'm now working on making my hypercomputer smaller, so it can work in my new drone model. The drones armour will be made of a Tungsten-Iridium-platinum alloy, which will basically stop a railgun bullet. Unfortunately, this alloy is incredibly difficult to produce, and, as such, I will only be creating about 10,000 of this kind of drone. They will be subjects of an experiment in which I will attempt to load a human mind into the machines. They will still follow the laws of my AI, but they will have human ingenuity, as well as providing a look into how humans would look at machines living alongside them. They will look like my normal drones, except a lot bulkier, and massive shield arms, which interlock to form a solid shell of weaponry, should the need arise. Edit: [hide=Erebus Drone] Black dots are pistol holes, red circles are cameras.[/hide] Of course, for civilian life, they'll be transferred into regular Icarus drones, but without weaponry. In the event of being surrounded or under heavy fire, they will fold into their shield arms and begin spinning and firing wildly.

I order the scientists I lent you to use one of the machines you most likely built from my blueprints to help you make the supercomputer smaller by simply making smaller parts. Why platinum? Platinum is the most expensive metall on Earth, try wolfram or titanium instead, they don't corrode either. Twitter: @TheMather1
