Honestly, there is no real advantage to having 27~ planets except growing space, and possibly resources, but why anyone would need 27 planets worth of resources is beyond me. And growing wont be needed until a planet has upwards of 15 billion people.

By capturing dozens of planets you are merely stretching your forces, and in contrast to what would happen with more land on Earth, weakening yourself.

Mostly. Some of the less inhospitable ones are true colonies though (earthlikes, deserts, and minor arctics).

I think Trol should be PMed first before assuming that he doesn't play anymore, to be honest. The same should be done with Mage_Man (guy who owns Australia).

I know Latinoking will most likely want to play still, but I also know that he's busy with college (which is why he gave me command of his armies). So, I will just assume that his empire is in stasis or whatever, and I will take control of any necessary things (move him if Earth gets blown up, fight any plagues in his country, etc.).

I've also talked to Hedgehog1 and asked him if he's still playing. He says he is, but he's being low-key so he doesn't get blown up by some of the larger empires (his own words). :P

Anyway, the Second Life Project has begun, and a laboratory will be built in Moscow.

The second probe has been sent in the same general direction as the last one, but the probe's angle was adjusted about one degree. The probe has tamper-proof devices (the same that are used on weapons) to prevent any potentially hostile sentient beings from discovering who we are and taking advantage of the probe. (Archi, I do agree that NPC sentient lifeforms would kind of break the game. Wormholes, black holes, etc. are pretty interesting.)

White saplings have begun to grow.

Production rates have increased somewhat from last year due to the government-sponsored incentives concerning Zhoreuc.

The Eiffel Tower was completed and sent to Earth via a cargo ship that was escorted by an embassy ship.

I would like to point out that having more than 1 planet is not a bad thing...I have 3 planets and because they are heavily defended I am in a much more powerful position than most 20 year old empires. =P

Oh, and if people want me to update the first post the easiest way is to do the following.

Edit whatever planets you own into the following list. Then, post or pm any systems that you changed (So if you only changed one system, don't pm me the whole list) .

This'll make it easier for me. Do not just copy and paste the list from the first page, as that gets rid of the format it's in, with font changes and the like. Copy and past from :

I can look after your prisoners on the paradise planet. If that isn't good enough I can send them to work in the mines on Hera....Ironic how my people would consider the former the punishment and the later the reward, don't you think?

Very well, but Britannian law calls on the humane treatment of all prisoners and the establishment of reformation programmes so that some prisoners (that committed petty crimes) can come back to Britanniae or Kajea. Hardcore prisoners will just remain on self-sufficient prison colonies for the remainder of their lives because we can't risk them coming back and committing another heinous crime.

Yeah thats fine, they get sent out in land crawlers(its 600 Degrees C outside) in teams of about 6. The crawlers need to be recoated every 36 hours or they will start to degrade, 4 hours later they will be destroyed. Usual mining runs last 12 hours.

A special facility is being built for prisoners on Hera.

If Sere ever wants to stage an uprising then that would be fun, but not for a few more years.
