Here is what i use: Karil Leathertop Karil Leatherskirt Infinity Boots Skillcape Zamorakian Spear (stap) Amulet of Fury Barrows Gloves Ring of Wealth Slayer Helm This is by far better than ranging. I doubt you kill them 3x faster than a whip :P but yh using a ZS and using Stab deals a considerable amount of damamge compared to whip, since your on task i suggest you use his setup, but i would replace the skillcape with a fire cape and the RoW with a onyx (I) ring but thats just me :P

August 3, 200916 yr Personally I like to tank range them. I wore: Sara Coif Karil Top Karil Skirt Inf Boots Crystal Bow Fury RoW Barrow Gloves Accumulator I could kill them considerably fast, I don't know if it was the set-up or the fact I have 97 range. They hit a considerable amount though when they do hit.. It was hard for me to keep my health up even with a bunyip. Maybe I didn't bring enough "buffer" food to keep me filled until I could get more raw shark or swordie drops. With a Uni though you could stay practically forever... or at least until you run out of scrolls. Apparently, my signature was to big.
August 3, 200916 yr Bunyip is very helpful there, since aquanites drop raw fish. And you might wanna use protect from mage prayer. Aquanites have hit 20's on me...

Bring a bunny along with a good bit of swallow whole scrolls; along with good food to stall until you get raw drops(monks would be sufficient). Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.

I agree with the gear, I just can't accept your general statement that using a ZS is 3x faster than a whip. There are too many factors to take into consideration like your stats, if you were using str/att super pots and combat boosting prayer and what the other player you're comparing yourself to was using. I've been there a few times myself and used both a whip and ZS and did not see any siginificant difference in either weapon.

August 3, 200916 yr I'm liking the idea that you can and it is effective to tankrange these. It seems Jagex is opening up more rangable ideas, so melee isnt always the best option I dont need a siggy no moar.
