I've basically finished, any crits before its ready for use? Im thinkin of makin another halloween sig so may give this one away, use the newer one for me :P. it's like 3 weeks till halloween so I got plenty of time..

But the crowding thing is a bit of a problem. 9/10 dude.

Looks nice. The end product looks foggy, did you mean it to look that way? The background with the moon is a little confusing, are those buildings back there? Maybe give those a little more dimension. The moon could also be smoothed out some and given a soft glow. Atm it looks a little choppy. All in all though it looks very nice, good job. :)

I like it. Nice shading, but as i would agree that the buildings in the bg are difficult to distinguish. I think maybe they could do with some kind of features to make them look like buildings. But yeah, other than that i love it. :)

oh I didn't wanna make the background buildings more than just silhoetted shapes, I tried it, and it kinda made the sig look a bit too crampt and crowded.. also I learnt after making a sig for mdogg that I needed i needed more of a centered feature about the sig. In this being the 5 trick or treaters in the garden of some old man. :lol:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I wanted it to be packed with people, I got 10 characters 2 animals, 2 gnomes and a real witch in the back :shock: .. so thats enough..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I wasn't plannin on making this the sig of the century or anything, was just something fun for me to do so it doesn't have to be perfect, cus no one is :P..

I don't like it with the really dark silhouettes. Is everyone asleep in the neighbourhood? How are they going to go trick or treating with everyone asleep?! (No lights on therefore they must be asleep :P).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think maybe some soft lighting to indicate windows etc would be great. And at the moment it took me a few seconds to distinguish the silhouette from the sky, which is not good. :)

if you want to pixel me a avatar with a sad guy in a pikachu costume it would be the most ownage thing i would ever see. :D

The lighting is what I like best of your work, clear source which affects all. Your characters seem just a bit flat and skinny or elongated. Texture is great as always (tree for example). :)

hey thx for the comments :), i've changed the other two character's poses to make it a lil more interesting.. Im gonna have to work out the background when I come to it, again if you want me to add you in the back wearin a funny costume it'll be no problem.
