I have 72 crafting, 19.4m, and I want 99 crafting. With green bodies it's 25m with sc knives. I was just told by Flamer Foe (cheers buddy) that I could maybe get to 99 crafting bracelets.

 

 

 

Can someone explain how this method is efficient?

Its not effective its amazingly slow just like any other jewelery smithing process. It is however cheap.

Simple. Buy gold bars, make gold bracelets. You could craft ~1200 an hour I think. All necessary calculations can be made from this.

Gold bracelets? Not emerald or sapphire+?

gold bar= 232

 

gold bracelet= 250

 

 

 

so this way you would profit, however, I don't know if they sell

 

 

 

you would need 485.388 gold bracelets, with 1200 an hour this would take you 362 hours.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

gold bar+sapphire= 232+586=818

 

sapphire bracelet price= 621

 

818-621= 197, so 197 loss each brace. You get 60xp each brace so: 197:60 = 3.2 gp/xp

 

 

 

If you have lvl 72 (899.257xp) you will need 12.135.174 xp that way it would look even more expensive than dragonhide.

 

 

 

 

 

however, you can enchant them.

 

 

 

if you would enchant them and put the cost of the runes on them, 818+166=984.

 

bracelet of clay = 650 gp. so 984-650= 334gp loss each bracelet.

 

But, if you use them (takes a long time I guess) you would gain 5852 gp from the soft clay (28*209)

 

5852-984=4688 so you would make huge profit off them =P (although it would take you very long =P)

This used to be an epic way to train crafting with Emerald bracelets (70-99 with only 150K loss, I'm not [cabbage]ting you). But, it has been discovered and you now lose a lot of money.

 

 

 

You could try buying gold bars, crafting them into rings/necklaces/bracelets and selling them to the Rogue trader in Varrock (after Summer's End and freeing him from the Rogue castle). He will buy all non-enchanted jewellery at the GE minimum price, and accepts noted items as well. :thumbup:

Use stealing creation needles and make green dragonhide bodies. The time spent saved is more than enough to make back the money lost with extra time to spare. Any other way and you will just be spending a longer amount of time.
