October 4, 200520 yr one i was really looking forward to late this year was V for Vendetta. forgot to mention it because i havent heard about it in so long. looks pretty good, i know its following the comic book trend but most of those have been ok.

October 7, 200520 yr The biggest factor in the massive sales of Dan Browns books is the hype. His other books also are on best seller lists but really arnt that good at all. Just because something sells a lot doesnt means its good. Thats like saying McDonalds makes the best food in the world because they sell the most food. Then of course screenplays are rarely as close to the book as people would like. Ron also directed Edtv which was awful imo. DaVinci Code isn't even his best book IMO, but it is the most controversial so people have been caught up in the hype. As for the film I'm not a fan of Tom Hanks so his casting as the lead character could cause a problem for me. Or it could be a huge surprise and be a brilliant film.

Tom Hanks gets boring so fast, he's got a few great ones, but he's so typical. I wouldn't put my money on the last thing either, I will see it though, since I really enjoyed reading the Da Vinci Code, haven't read any of Brown's other books, but I heard they weren't too good..
