August 29, 200916 yr Wow... I'm struggling to see how you can't identify Bond in either since he is either addressed by name or uses his own name, in the intro of the movie, but okay. Anyhow, I tie him with Moore because, the Bond he was suited the atmosphere of the movie perfectly. If he hadn't turned down the role earlier, or legal issues hadn't arisen prior to GoldenEye, you probably would've found that he isn't that different to the Bond that Craig delivers.
August 29, 200916 yr I think I like Lazenby's Bond the most. He's pretty hillarious. He also looks kind of uncortable in it, which makes it extra funny. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
August 29, 200916 yr Whose he? David Niven. He was Bond in the 60s version of Casino Royale, with Peter Sellers amongst others. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
August 30, 200916 yr Definatly Sean Connery for me, haven't seen enough of Craig yet but he looks promising. But anyway, i think Bonds dying now.
August 30, 200916 yr I think I like Lazenby's Bond the most. He's pretty hillarious. He also looks kind of uncortable in it, which makes it extra funny. Never mind the fact that 4 years in England wasn't enough time to abolish the Australia accent that is way too prominent in the film.
August 31, 200916 yr -Sean Connery was a great actor and he was very good in every movie except for Never Say Never Again, which I try to disregard entirely. I believe he is the best Bond. -Lazenby was a terrible actor in a boring movie, and was basically there as filler for Connery. Least favorite. -Roger Moore used to be my favorite for the comedy, but anymore he seems too gimicky. He had some good movies and he had some really stupid ones. Third favorite. -Dalton didn't feel like Bond to me, his movies were a bit more violent and gory and didn't feel right, fourth favorite. -Brosnan is not a bad actor at all, but I think his movies got way too technological and lost a lot of the fun, adding a lot more serious tone that didn't fit in as much. I believe they tried to be serious, but a lot of times came off as stupid. Goldeneye was great but everything after that was not good. Fifth favorite. -Craig in Casino Royale was awesome. It was a remake and didn't come across as one, it felt different and worked! It had less gimicks, and seemed to make Bond into a more realistic character. Solace wasn't great, but it wasn't bad and the movie and was short and lame because of the writers strike, so hopefully his next movie will give him a better chance to shine. Second favorite. I'm a huge Bond fan and have seen every movie quite a few times. The favorites usually always change, Connery, Moore, and Craig are all usually on the same level for me. Pierce has just never appealed to me and neither did Dalton or Lazenby.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service will only get a good score from me because I liked how bad he was in the role, and I liked seeing Bond read a Playboy IN A WAITING ROOM!
August 31, 200916 yr I've never been a great follower of Bond, one of the reasons for it is the constant change of actors  2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
August 31, 200916 yr i grew up playing goldeneye on the n64 so brosnan is first for me, then connery, craig, dalton Darwin's Radio, stairway to stardom 2009
August 31, 200916 yr I've never been a great follower of Bond, one of the reasons for it is the constant change of actors  I don't think it would have the same appeal if you put Connery or Moore in them now though =P~ I think the Bond movie Franchise has to be one of, if not the most successful movie franchises ever, and because of that i think after 4+ Bond films like most of the actors do, they probably get bored of the role, or don't want to stay with it for too long in fear of getting type cast for the rest of their carreer. I know the two most recent films with Craig have had to be more gritty films to try and keep with the times, but i personally preffered the slick, cleaner feel of the rest of the bond films. I think if you show somebody part of Casino royale or Quantum of solace, blanking out Craigs face, it would be hard to tell that its a bond movie for alot of it. I don't think that would happen with the older ones. Want to be my friend? Look under my name to the left<<< and click the 'Add as friend' button!Big thanks to Stevepole for the signature!^

After 20+ films the Bond franchise is extremely predictable and stale, especially with Brosnan as Bond, Craigs bond is more realistic and believable. Even with that Bond is still a long way off from Bourne which imo is the future.
September 10, 200916 yr Craig. I think he does the "i don't give a [bleep], shoot kill ask later" persona the best. I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. September 10, 200916 yr I don't think Brosnan is a particularly good actor, but he's closest to the character Ian Fleming originally created, both personality and appearance wise. Craig also looks somewhat like Fleming's original Bond, though way younger and his hair is lighter.
September 11, 200916 yr Oh God, I have to PICK? Obviously some are shocking, but from the ones you've listed my clear favourites are craig and connery (I don't know how any of you could say Connery isn't a favourite). I'm a big fan of the bond movies, and my clear favourites are casino royal (with Craig) and Goldfinger (with Connery). Now, I can't pick between the two because I love them both equally, like a mother and her sons. But, acting wise, I reckon Craig plays the part best, and my Dad agrees with me. He's a bigger fan of the movies than I am, so I took his word for it (he changed from Connery to Craig as his favourite BECAUSE of the latest Bond movies). Connery is great, but Craig just fits the character perfectly. I believe that they strayed with Bond's character over a few movies, because they didn't capture his true person. He isn't all that good ;). It really brings him down to a human level, if you know what I mean, and Cragi does it exceptionally.
