Just out of curiosity what is the drop rate of a dragon shield half?

Anyone have a rough number?

Id say maybe 1/250-300. But don't quote me. I've gotten a total of 2 Havles, both from Abyssal Demons. Since they are worthless now, it doesn't really matter. Best thing to do to those is either sell or alch.

One out of every 250-300 kills really, or is that what you think for abby demons? I am killing armoured zombies and I have killed over 18k of them and nothing, I'm not really looking for it but I'm just suprised that I have never gotten one from any monster.

Maybe so, i was trying to make a point as now halves are worthless. Those, along with D Meds, are some of the "lulz" drop i get. They are rare drops, but not really worth some serious.

 

 

 

The only Dragon drop that is decent, imo, are the D boots. Average is like 1/200-250. And i can confirm this as i get at least 1 d boot almost every task. My first task i got 3 of them so the average is holding up.

I got my first left half today, and I was logged on to see the release of the Legends Quest. I've played around 7 years and it's taken me that long to get a left half.

I have played till L76 slayer now and never gotten a d half shield... Cb 108 so I dunno, it really is a random drop since I never had one.

34Mil xp HP and I have never gotten a left half. I don't care about the price, I just want one as it is a rare and probably one of the hardest to get as a drop is very impredictable.

D half varies just like half keys and gems.

 

 

 

I've had a few half shield splits from bosses, but never from a slayer or training monster.

Ive gotten one from ghostly warriors, but there a lot of monsters that drop them, but it still must be one of the rarest drops out there...

I have had one from Fire giants and one from avansies.

So you're saying a D half is rarer then a D chain? Cuz i hear d chains are 1/10k. And i wasn't trying to get an exact answer. But i killed maybe 1-2k abby demons (don't pay attention) and i gotten 2 halves, and also 3 d meds.

I'm going to guess around 1/5000. That'd make sense with all of the fire giant tasks I've done, only to get my left half last week...88 Slayer levels in...It's definitely a good laugh when you get it though. :

i've played 8 years so that makes 6 years of killing since legends without a shield half... 1/1111111111111 maybe? :wall:

So if I understand this right- press the 1 key, then the / key, then bang on the number pad and you will have the drop rate? Sounds right to me, I've played 5+ years and have never got one.

I acually calculated how armoured zombies it took me to get from 92-99 str it was over 17k and I'm back there now getting 90 def and 99 att so lets see how this works lol.
