October 8, 200916 yr So the new run of season 13 started tonight. Really funny so far. Just wanted to know what you guys think of it. Personally the only thing I don't like so far is that they make fun of TAPS. Those guys are freaking awesome, and sometimes they get some great stuff. They should have used the guys from Most Haunted. They never actually show you anything (they claim to be psychics), we pretty much just take their word for it. The chipotle joke is funny, but not too memorable. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
October 8, 200916 yr "NOOoooOOOoo...Im not dead, I just have a skin condition. Dont be ignorant." Great episode, had some good south park moments in it. Cant wait for the rest of the season. "Let your anger be as a monkey in a piñata... hiding amongst the candy... hoping the kids don't break through with the stick." - Master Tang
October 8, 200916 yr Hated it, just like the last two or three seasons. Its all cheap pop-culture laughs, its pretty clear they ran out of ideas years ago. As far as defending these TAPS fellows, that my good sir is ignorant. Previously known as Monkeybeast0.
October 8, 200916 yr But South Park is awesome. How can you hate it. 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!
October 8, 200916 yr Partially for that reason, it seems like a lot of people just like Southpark now because its Southpark. It genuinely stopped being funny years ago. Previously known as Monkeybeast0.
October 8, 200916 yr I still think its funny. :-( 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!
October 8, 200916 yr I don't think I have laughed once at South Park. Watched 4 or 5 episodes (not my choice).
October 8, 200916 yr Author South Park has only gotten better over the years, but as in every other case, people love to complain. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
October 8, 200916 yr I don't think I have laughed once at South Park. Watched 4 or 5 episodes (not my choice).Don't let the newer episodes put you off. At least try to watch some of the older ones. South Park has only gotten better over the years, but as in every other case, people love to complain.Watch some older episodes and then watch the new ones, its clear that the humor in the newer episodes is completely uninspired. In the past the writers had some great ideas and built up from that. The writing in the newer episodes is entirely "alright whats in the news this week?" then built up from there. Its not like you can blame them though, as long as people like you continue to watch for the sole reason that its southpark they'll continue to make money off of mediocre writing. Previously known as Monkeybeast0.

October 8, 200916 yr Author Everyone has a right to their opinion, but I think that these are funnier because you can relate to them. Remember the time your city was destroyed by a trapper keeper monster? I don't. But I definitely want to tell Billy Mays to SHUT THE HELL UP. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
October 8, 200916 yr I don't find anything funny about terrible pop-culture references, and I fail to see how being able to relate to characters makes any difference in a comedy based around shock laughs and dirty humor. While I'm on that note, it seems like a lot of Southpark's viewers tend to build their opinions based on what they see on Southpark. Did you really hate Billy Mays before this episode? Did you really see a commercial with him as the spokesman and think "SHUT THE HELL UP!"? If so you might need to see a psychiatrist. I doubt you hated him for his personality. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who had met the man who had a single bad thing to say about him. I guess people can't be blamed though, the ignorant are often sponges to their idol's(in this case the writers of southpark's) opinions. Previously known as Monkeybeast0.

I can honestly say with absolute certainty that this episode in no way affected my judgment of Billy Mays, I don't care what kind of guy he was, the commercials were annoying as [bleep]. What was this TAPS thing they were making fun of? Is that one of those stupid ghost/paranormal shows? I can't believe people actually believe that stuff. EDIT: Forgot to mention the episode, I wasn't a huge fan. I think I laughed once, can't remember what at though.
October 8, 200916 yr I loved the episode. I know they use a lot of pop culture references nowadays but I still think they're really funny. South Park has changed from when it started, but it's just as funny still, and still the funniest comedy on TV. If you disagree it's just ignoraaaaaant. I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator].
October 8, 200916 yr Finally part 2!To the internet to go watch! (yes I realise I'm already on the internet) Edit: nonono, the episode isn't working on the site I usually use :(Edit2: Found another one OK watched it, It was pretty good, not as good as the rest of the season though in my opinion. Doomy edit: I like sheep

EDIT: Forgot to mention the episode, I wasn't a huge fan. I think I laughed once, can't remember what at though. On the TAPS note (sorry, I can't figure out yet what makes the quote work on this forum), what's ignorant is just dismissing them as flatout wrong. Have an open mind. This DOES NOT AT ALL mean that I take ghosts as a fact, not by a longshot, but with all the evidence that can't be disproven (most of it can be disproven), it can;t just be thrown out like old garbage, or Hex's weapon choices. What I like about them is that they go in skeptical. And that's how all things paranormal should be approached, with skepticism. That includes ghosts, religion, time warps, none of it should be thrown out, but you also can't assume it's true. Eh, I could almost make a whole thread based on this. Back to South Park. AHEM... I lol'd hard when MJ came out of Ike, really hilarious. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
October 9, 200916 yr Predictable it would be featuring Michael Jackson (Too bad he didn't come back as Mr. Jefferson). But it was pretty good, I had some nice laughs. "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do"[Currently playing: K1ll L1f3]
October 15, 200916 yr Cant wait for tonights episode. Will post after the show ends. Edit: Ok so I finished watching it. It was ok...Had its moments, the cop that really "Got in to it" was pretty funny. But this show was alright, not their best, not their worst. It was a meh episode. "Let your anger be as a monkey in a piñata... hiding amongst the candy... hoping the kids don't break through with the stick." - Master Tang
October 15, 200916 yr I'll admit I liked this weeks episode, I didn't have to hear about their political views and there wasn't many pop culture references. The show really shines when it doesn't take itself too seriously. Previously known as Monkeybeast0.
October 15, 200916 yr that was one of the best eps ever just that one classroom scene made the episode alone. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
October 15, 200916 yr Author I really loved the ending. There's undercover, and then there's THAT. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
October 15, 200916 yr One of the better episodes. Very nice one! "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do"[Currently playing: K1ll L1f3]
