Chaosbringer
Man, I love Fire Emblem games :D The Megaman games aren't bad, but I like the Megaman Zero games better :D Pokemon is good for an occasional play. I have an Original GBA btw. ~Chaosbringer

E_D_G_E_1039
I think Ill stick with my grey GameBoy "Brick"... The pink buttons are irresistable. In my eyes, theyre just showing exactly how desperate they are, and how much more popular their competitors products are, compared to their own. I mean the DS is what... 6 months old, and already a new, more or less pre-existant handheld system? Cut a game boy advance in half, and *boom* you have a Gameboy Micro...

Unless they acctually are making new games for it and not GBA games for it. Why does Apple sell the Nano when its the same thing as the Mini just smaller and with sligthly better specs? The answer to both is that people will continue to buy all models of whatever the company is selling, so they will continue to improve those models to please the customers and show that they are woking non stop to make the product even better. Yea, its how the electronic world works. Palm, Apple, Nintendo, Nokia, Sony... they keep reselling the same thing in a new package. Practically there entire sales are based on mankind's "you only want what you don't have" nature

assassin_696
I think i'll stick with my SP, i'm not really that into handheld gaming, and if i do i might go for the PSP, now that's true handheld quality gaming :) "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
cadburys_egg
You just bought that?! Bubsa, do you realize there is an updated GBA SP out there? It's got a new screen, it's incredibly bright and vivid. Great colours. Here's a pic: Same price as a regular GBA SP. You can recognize GBA SP with improved screens by the box, it's says new brighter screen or something. A gameboy that finally has back lights WOOP. But should I cancel my order for PSP?

BlueLancer
I have nothing against the Micro but disappointingly enough there's nothing to distinguish it from a pure cash cow. No new releases were made for the Micro, no specific features, etc... Just the design has changed. If you want to play GBA games, go for this one if you don't have a 3rd generation gameboy yet. If you want to play all kinds of Gameboy games including the forthcoming releases, buy a DS. I'm not saying this wont sell, it's the opposite actually. What I'm saying is that this console was not made to please the customers or "create innovative new products", this one was made with a 100% intent to only grow the bank account of Nintendo Corporation. What are you talking about? The Gameboy micro is made for people who don't own a Gameboy Advance yet, Nintendo isn't expecting people who already own a GBA to buy this as well, but they obviously wouldn't mind. Changeable faceplates (which protect the screen), made of metal, awesome looks and a great size make this a winner. I don't own a GBA yet, and this is going to be my first one. I'm definately glad Nintendo made this. I'm getting it for the size and looks. The faceplates are gonna be awesome. Here's a Japanese list. Number 54 is awesome! I'm getting the silver Gameboy micro right at launch in the Netherlands (November 4th). :)
