New game idea's

Hey everyone, I've been recently thinking about making a game when i'm older, Like an Xbox game or wii game (just a console one)

 

number 1:

This is a third person shooter which allows you to explore a large city, It will have a distinctive holga view on the camera. One of the main features of this game are the many superpowers you can get ranging from teleporting, shapeshifting, flying, dodging bullets and also becoming intangible, they will be unlocked over the course of the game.

The game doesn't have a set storyline and is extremly free roam, you can kill citizens at a whim or even smash down buildings without a reason. Its a great stress reliver and is ebasically fully sandbox.

You will fight "agents". Agents have some of the powers you have or sometimes even more, they resemble greatly the agents of the matrix and work for a large megacooperation that wants to destroy you because of your powers.

you will be able to hijack cars and even planes, you can combine some things for example you can hijack a plane and throw people out of the plane because your annoyed, You can fight an agent on the top of a burning plane and when you fall you'll be in a falling mode battle, whats intresting is that when you falll you'll just carry on fighting so none of those stupid game over screens, If you are killed you restart at a recent savegame but with a two minute loss of power.

Its multiplayer with up to 24 players to participate in the game

 

number 2:

a zombie third person shooter, It won't just throw you in a wasteland with a ridiculous weapon like a crowbar, You'll be there from the collapse of civalisation, You'll start off in an office block and you can pick up diffrent weapons, The zombies will be romero but one touch will kill you. if you fire at the zombies arm its arm will fall off if you fire at its head its head will explode, It will have a very kill bill style for when you kill zombies, You will be able to take alchohol, get drunk even get addicted to crack. you can sleep in an abondoned asylum and regain energy and when you wake up you can kill more zombies.

one vast diffrence from most zombie games is that there will be far more zombies, As soon as someone is touched by a zombie they become a zombie, this will also make it a zombie outbreak simulator. Its a sort of mmog in a way but its focuses more on the individual side of gameplay. another big diffrence is you won't just be fighting zombies, you'll be fighting people who are stopping you getting to places (government)

You will be able to wear big daddy like suits to be against zombies (:))

I have recently spent my time creating an entire alien race, every strain of the species, their biological makeup and such. I might use that in a game idea in the distant future.

 

Yes, I was extremely bored. Took me about a month...

Oh post it pllleeeeaaaaaasssssseee ;)

 

And yeh i'm planning on making this.

And yeh i'm planning on making this.

While I'm sure you have an extensive knowledge of coding and programming, wouldn't that interfere with your plans of being a god?

When i'm a god people will program this for me aswell as making it exactly how I want :P.

 

I'll be doing programming soon however.

Oddly enough, I did have an idea for a game involving zombies, vampires, and werewolves where you play as a clan of werewolves who enter a town during the zombie invasion. You save the townspeople and assign them specific jobs as you save them, creating a sort of army that defends the city. Say you see a football player getting attacked and you save him. You can then assign him to be a guard for a hospital. Then you can go to the hospital and save people and set them up as doctors and nurses for the wounded. You can get people to be scroungers and they will go to places around the city to grab food and supplies. You can have people on the forefront who kill zombies and save innocents while you are gone, and you progress through a story mode where you learn more about the zombie threat through your werewolf companions, and you also go through and fight the major zombie threats and fight their leaders, a group of crazy vampire cultists who want the world to themselves. By biting people they take away their will and their braincells, thus turning them into walking corpses, though none are bloody or look like the zombies in most stuff, they just look like braindead people. You can tell them apart from the regular people pretty easily though since regular people are the ones screaming for help.

 

I swear to god when I get the time, I am going to write the whole script for the game, create a basic outline of gameplay and mechanics, and then send it in to some game company.

To develop a Wii game, you need a backing company/be trustworthy and have about $2,000 to buy the development kit. After jumping through those hurdles, you'll need to find a way to publish your game. Most likely it would be through WiiWare, but there may be other choices if you have a backing company...

 

On the other hand, the Xbox 360 would be far easier to develop for. All you need is $100 (a year), XNA (which is free), and an Xbox 360. Of course, don't expect to be releasing a commercial game via XNA...

 

Myself, I'm developing a horror game for the Wii via homebrew, so the only money I have to plop down is for an SD card. So far I can load an image in about 600+ lines of code! Of course, there is a lot of other auxiliary code that is just used to draw the image and do other things that isn't available.

Werewolves are bad guys...

they don't have to be.

 

And its more fun playing the bad guy, look at [prototype] or GTA, no fun without random killing :twss:

 

If anyones got any game idea's can you post them... I wanty looky.

Werewolves are bad guys...

 

No, werewolves can be people just like you and me and can live in our society, not all of them are murderers. And of course, werewolves have a feud with vampires.

and in gta the protagonist isnt usually bad O_o

The protagonist in GTA is usually morally grey. Neither good, nor evil. You never really kill an innocent with the protagonist's choice.

 

The choice is to the player.

 

Much like inFAMOUS, there you are in control, so it is you who is good, evil or neutral. You are in complete control (well, usually).

Both are extremely unoriginal and wouldn't break any molds at all.

The second idea would still suck then.

 

Hex has put little thought into these.

 

Hell, I've got two game ideas, and two people have only seen one of them (my girlfriend, and the guy who was giving me ideas at the time), and only one person has seen the second game (again, this would be my girlfriend.), the reason I don't show anyone else? They are far from an acceptable standard to be shown to anyone else, they aren't even half complete.

 

The first, I want to add in a lot more detail to the world and such.

 

The second, I need to improve on the world, characters (haven't got names) and I need to get a storyline finished.

 

Hell, I even want Poser and Photoshop so I can work on some models, but I need to improve on my skills first.

Also, games like these with excessive, meaningless violence and drug and alcohol references often face opposition to being released. And if the are released, they come with an R18 tag, so I don't think you'd be able to purchase it
