That reminds me, how many times have I double crossed people? I must have double crossed Retech... 3 times now? And he still falls for it...

I don't remember all these times, except for the last Hegemony. I do remember that time when you almost got NWO during that large world war, but Ross figured out.

I'm still probaly going to fall for it again, but I've decided to try a peaceful commerce game this time. Now to do my very best to be an isolationist.

Good policy.

And Arch, Ross screwed himself.

And now Retech can screw himself.

Except that the game has not started yet, and the rules that you are now trumpeting have not been put forward by the moderator.

What a non-statement.

Neither of our ideas are backed by the moderator. I am stating my opinion, you are stating yours and Dungeonal can decide when he gets back.

This is what annoys me, you can talk crap till the cows come home, I say something and 'Archi is being a moderator again'.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

1. First time I double crossed anyone was the NWO.

2. Then I promised not to attack you that one time, but I did anyway and blew up all your stations.

3. Then I virus bombed you when I said I wouldn't.

4. Then I ICBM'd you when I said I wouldn't.

Oh well, I'm still going to trust you anyways. I think (eventually) you'll find that I'm better as a helpful ally than as an enemy. That reminds me, if I have any decent fleet during the game, I'll try to help people being invaded by aliens. After all, no one is a good trading partner if they're left ruined. :P

Believe me, having good intentions get you nowhere... except the grave. Just look at how I've ended in all these games.

I don't see when I ever talked crap. I also never said that you were "being the moderator again." You were trying to use the rules which have not yet been established, to say that either I could be a generic human race and conform to the "everyone is exactly the same" trend, or I could roleplay at a severe disadvantage. Rather, I was suggesting that you could still have the same production capacities as the generic human norm, yet still be able to roleplay out of that.

Healthcare reform is bad, people. Don't let the Washington Democrats (Socialists) turn the USA into the USSA.

Tell your local Congressmen to vote NO on healthcare reform!

By the way, I think that trying to put everyone on equal terms is socialism. That's distribution of power AND wealth!

Mather, you keep saying you had good intentions and wondering why people invade you.

Because you allied yourself with somebody's enemy... Of course they're going to try to take out the supporting force.

Didn't healthcare already pass? Or is it still being "fixed" up.

Mather, your good intentions were to get a supergenerator that could power a massive uber death ship...

No, but attacking the Urk-Orz several times were, and so was fighting global warming in the second version and providing Archi with RPGs and allowing people to use my bio-domes on Greenland.

Sere; healthcare is good!

Come to think of it, we probably shouldn't let Retech play because his country was socialistic in the first Hegemony. Socialism is a threat to capitalism and liberty!!

But that's impossible! My country was a monarchy, and it was all for executing anyone who didn't agree. Not real socialism, Russian socialism. :P

We shouldn't let Sere play either, as he's a capitalist-monarchist and it conflicts with my world view.

How about this? We make socialism/communism against the rules in the new Hegemony.

When did I swear any oath to protect and help him? What I did was to defend a country that was under attack by a supperior army sent out by three other countries in an unprovoked attack and then help it rebuild. Isn't that what some international treaty existing today requires countries to do?

Sere; or how about we ban communsim and then all nuke your planets to kindom come when the game starts?
