Vulxai
I decided I wanted 83 summoning, and since I need 72 slayer for the diaries, I started slaying until I get 72 slayer. Any ideas of what my melee stats will be when I get it? I prefer to melee every opportunity. Also, after I get 72 slayer, I highly doubt I'll have enough to get to 83, so should I just continue to slay or go dusty killing? In other words, how much longer will it take to get the charms required if I slay vs. killing dusties? EDIT: I'm using Chaeldar if that helps...should I switch or keep using her? ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Blutters
Take tasks from Sumona if you're able to. ... Sorry I can't really help with any other part of this...
Kersei
Simple, in general, you get 4 melee exp (across hp, atk, str, def) for each 1 slayer exp.
intervention
I'm not 100% sure of what your melee stats will be at the end but I think it would be better if you kept slaying after 72 slayer as it will take longer for you to get bored with it than at dusties. I would also suggest moving up to summona as your are strong enough. Shilo won't be do hard for you either so you can also think about doing him. Zaaps1
I really recommend Duradel/Lapalok whenever you can. The xp is better overall than Sumona. If you can use Kuradal, even better. ~It's Super Effective! Vulxai
How would I fare with Duradel at my stats? Also, if I kept slaying, any ideas of what my slayer level would be by time i get enough for 83 summoning? I'm standing at around 100 greens, 150 golds, 20-30 blues, and 30 crims. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Gandalf14141
Use Duradel, you should have no problem with most of his tasks, those that you do have troubles with you can cancel. Vulxai
Alright, I'll go try Lapalok or whatever the new guys name is. Zaaps1
This should help somewhat, but remember this is for DURADEL using the BEST POSSIBLE METHOD at the BEST POSSIBLE STATS. Slayer xp rates for can be found in the task list that follows, but I thought it might be interesting to put them all in one place from highest to lowest, for comparison. Note that all xp rates given are for maxed stats, Piety if applicable, full worlds, and no negative effects from competition. Really these are my own xp rates, so they are not be applicable for everyone. Task: Slayer xp per hour (task may not last full hour) Dagannoths: 80k Bloodvelds: 56k (up to 59k with Steel Titan) Warped Terrorbirds: 51k Scabarites: 50k Suqahs: 50k Aberrant Spectres: 46k (up to 48k with Steel Titan) Black Demons (range or halberd + cannon): 40k Goraks: 37k Kalphites: 36k Fire Giants (melee + cannon): 35k Dark Beasts: 36k (1k to 2k less if you need to do 2 trips) Dust Devils: 28k (up to 33k with Steel Titan) Spiritual Mages: 25k (up to 27k with Steel Titan) Abyssal Demons: 25k Gargoyles: 25k Skeletal Wyverns: 24k (1k to 2k less if you have to do 2 trips) Nechryaels: 24k (up to 27k with Steel Titan) Waterfiends: 23k (up to 26k with Steel Titan) Black Dragons: 23k (baby black dragons) Hellhounds: 22k (1k to 5k more if you pick up fewer charms) Greater Demons: 21k Iron Dragons: 17k (up to 19k if you have dragon slayer gloves) Steel Dragons: 14k Mithril Dragons: 9k If you get approximately those rates and have fast transitions between tasks, you should average between 26k and 30k slayer xp per hour. Remember those are for maxed stats and Piety! If your stats are around level 80 and can get even 3/4 of those rates, you are doing very well! X. Summoning xp rates Credit goes to Blizaga57 for arranging the tasks by summoning xp per hour. Please note that these are very approximate rates. They will vary depending on which pouches you are making and how many kills you get per hour. You probably will find a monster's relative position in the list more useful than the stated rates. Scabarites - 91k Waterfiends - 53k Dagannoths- 53k Skeletal Wyverns - 41k Aberrant Spectres - 33k Nechryaels - 33k Black Demons - 32k Dust Devils - 30k Fire Giants - 29k Mithril Dragons - 26k Greater Demons - 26k Iron Dragons - 24k Abyssal Demons 21k Bloodvelds - 20k Kalphites - 19k Gargoyles - 18k Dark Beasts - 17k Hellhounds - 11k Suqahs - 6k Goraks 0 Spiritual Mages 0 Warped Terrorbirds 0 Black Dragons - ? Steel Dragons - ? You can further improve on your own rates (in addition to getting higher levels, better equipment, using a better method, and using a higher master) by blocking and canceling the rights tasks. ~It's Super Effective!
