Nexaduro
Retch, I've got five sets of bones still inside the goblin flesh I found them wrapped in. Also Caster cannons are no match to us no more, we've got grenades and revolvers. Say one of us takes the role of smith, one takes the role of assembler, one or more makes bullets, one makes scopes and I design better guns. Suddenly we might even have some sort of RPG after a bit of trial and error.Trial and error with an RPG = Loss of the skills needed to make one =b 10:53 PM - retech9691: I feel the need10:53 PM - retech9691: To include many chasms in my story arc10:53 PM - Resistance: You mean plotholes? The_Mather1
Magic allows us to remotely use the guns during trial, also we could try with "dummy" rockers with just the ignition mechanism, no explosives. Twitter: @TheMather1

Which is a bit more powerful than a typical crossbow, but takes longer to use. Once again, you hugely overestimate your weapons. The electrical prisms will maybe deal some electrical burns to soldiers in a one metre radius, but will by no means kill them.In fact, you all hugely overestimate your ability. If it came to fighting Caster, they'd win, Period. Nex, I don't know. I might use them at some point, but probably disguised as something else. Start at 9:00-9:30. The_Mather1
What I mainly ment with better guns are more powerfull force crystals, rifled barrel to fire straighter and more bullets (maybe 6 or 8) in the barrel. Also think how it'll work if we create several large catapults and launch hundreds of grenades at the soldiers, that'll be a fence of electricity with them as poles. Grim_
Nex ross (as the GM) generally has the privilege of chosing when he wants to start (incidentally is archi ever going to GM here again?)
Icuownage
Here's an idea, why doesn't Jen just go do hitman work for bones, earning respect xp and bones at the same time? Ever thought of that? It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time? Seraphi
Nex ross (as the GM) generally has the privilege of chosing when he wants to start (incidentally is archi ever going to GM here again?)Doubtful. Mather, I'm actually really regretting letting you build a "Gun" in the first place. I really wish you would stop trying to make the game into a techfest. Also, Nex, I do like some time to relax, GMing this game gets quite tiring.

The_Mather1
Yeah Retech, I could make a copy of the gun blueprints and a force crystal, maybe you could loan 1000 coins from Grim then buy yourself a gun from the smith. Then you could work as a hitman using a gun, which no one knows how to protect themselves against. Twitter: @TheMather1

Seraphi
Mather, no more techfesting. Rocco, any magic would probably dissapate by then. Also, you'd likely die due to lack of oxygen.

Nexaduro
BTWDid we figure out what the Cyan metal is? Jen has metal in his inventory that has to do with sound, judging by it's name. 10:53 PM - retech9691: I feel the need10:53 PM - retech9691: To include many chasms in my story arc10:53 PM - Resistance: You mean plotholes? Retech
It's physics, dawg. A cannonball is flying up into the air at a velocity of x. Gravity is slowing it down at a rate of 9.8 m/s^2. After 800 meters, that cannonball has either started falling or is goin' pretty dang slow. Or we could have Retech make ice shields. Except that I lost most of my ice magic -.- Maybe if I got good enough with void magic I could redirect their shots, which would be much less energy draining than actually deflecting one. Retech
Maybe the strategy has to be to lure out the Quisitor, or maybe assasinate him, with the rest of the city crumbling. Or we could make a really big light show to scare them, so that they surrender. :P Militarily we have no hope though in a one vs one fight. Maybe with the Ivory Mages... Master of your domain? Like a machine which can wipe peoples minds.Nope, that was a spell done by an ogre shaman, and it didn't wipe it entirely, it just made you think that one of your memories were just made up. It's from The forgettable tale..., Mostly reffered to (due to ignorance) as The forgettable tale of a drunken dwarf. Maybe we can use the Quisitor's jaw to create fear amongst his soldiers, knowing the guy who crippled their leader is among the opposing "army". Seraphi
Thats better, think this through logically. You can't beat them, so weaken them until you can, or they surrender. Although the quisitor is too paranoid to come out of the city at the moment. Mather, there was also a machine that did it for them at one point.
