Perhaps we could send a hoard of fake golems (basically one time smashy smash golems that disentigrate and don't need life crystals) at Caster for a few days, and then they suddenly stop. Suddenly meteors fall from the sky courtesy of Grim! Maybe some sort of "plagues" like were visited on the Pharoah by Moses. I thought it would be distracted by the various people spearing it. Also I had a feeling that Ross was planning my death in this fashion for a while, as part of character development. Ross, no machine, you might be thinking about the magical elemental metal enchancer in elemental worshop two though, that is the closest we get (it temporarely lowers the magic level of the user).
