Umbra successfully binds the bear. Almost all of his dark magic bolts connect and destroy the bear. +0.2 dark magic.

Her golem does it for her.

Jen isn't worried about the crack, because the mountain is so large that it would be impossible for it to be destroyed. However, she is concerned about the immediate area. She attempts to create sorta an ice bridge to make sure that she doesn't fall into a gap.

 

Jen tries to create some walls again (relatively easy, it's just blocks of ice)

 

(Oh yah Ross, remember I have a big snowstorm bonus and an ice staff bonus on the mountain. That's like a +5 on rolls, assuming the snowstorm is for +3. If not, then the snowstorm makes things much more powerful, so my ice elementals would defeat a similarly powered normal elemental, most likely.

 

 

To Icu, they happened at different times. I'm just playing them out at the same time, since I posted the original post way before, but no one responded.

Umbra tries to summon another dark elemental (btw now Im at lvl 4 dark magic)

 

If he successful he will send it into the room, it will not look for traps (its used to set em off, if theres any)

Igos finds a treasure chest concealed in the brush!

 

Jen succeeds in creating an ice wall. It doesn't look that strong though. She fails at creating an ice bridge, and extends the large gap even more.

 

(The dice hates you all. Seriously. It seems to roll a lot of 2-4s.)

Igos checks the chest for traps.

Jen attempts to seal the gap by completely freezing it over, with the ice staff. Meanwhile, her ice golem and elemental are helping as well.

Umbra-

The orb of dark magic which was supposed to form the elemental exploded, leaving you wounded quite badly, and fainted. (Sorry)

 

Rocco begins walking to the shrine. The journey there is uneventful.

Ross, use this if the die rolls low too often, a real die can be a bit... "biased"

Defence mechanism kicks in, my shadow tentacles carry me back to Exile, I ask for healing

Rocco walks deep, deep into the woods. Possibly over a mile or two, who knows. He stumbles upon a trapdoor, which he enters. Inside is a group of around 25 or thirty mages. The cave is divided into several rooms, and he sees beds and other things.

 

He identifies himself to the mages as a friendly and offers to prove his kindness by showing them some of his powers.

 

Stumbling upon someones lair and then using magic, that could be mistaken for something bad, but leave it up for Ross

Archarnis leaves the starting dungeon and heads into exile.

I wonder who this newcomer is. Maybe he'll align himself with me and be my ice disciple. He can live in my tower -hint hint-

You quickly check the chest for traps, and you don't notice any which are visible.

You seal the gap over.

 

Umbra-

Shadow tendrils are stupid, they don't have a will of their own and cannot act while their master is fainted. They begin to fade, and will disappear if you don't wake up soon.

Luckily, you recover. Hazily, you stand up and check yourself for wounds. There is a large onyx shard embedded in your shoulder, it crackles with energy and is boiling hot, causing excruciating pain. (Onyx shard may be a useful item, if you can get it removed safely.)

I just want to remind you that I'm still excavating. :rolleyes:

Well then, umbra tries to summon more tentacles and a dark elemental to carry him off to exile

Jen sends a message to Umbra, asking him if he can ask the townspeople for directions to a golem cave.

Igos orderes his skeleton to open the chest and make sure it is safe. After that Igos will recover the contents.

Rocco attempts to use his magic, but another mage quickly dispels it.

 

"Are you trying to get us killed? The Quistor is extremely sensetive to magics being used nearby, and if he discovers this shrine, we're all dead!"

Archarnis goes to the shop and asks if there are any trade links nearby?

Jen I told them not reveal any locations to MY golem cave, they can reveal others, but they dont like you right now, its until you pay off your debt and make ammends I guess, unless you get lucky talk to a guy not from Exile
