Since Ross is going to do it, I better get all my ice golem summoning stuff done tonight. Then when Ross is the GM, I can focus on elemental. He seems to like Elementals much more than Archi does. :P

Jen attempts to conduct a ritual to turn the half formed life crystals into ice life crystals (she has two, trying to make two) using her charging stone. If successful, she will try to conduct a ritual with the half-used charging stone and the two life crystals to summon "Ausangate, Titanous Protector of the Mount" (note, I made up the name myself, so it's not really based on anything). This protector is powered by pure energy of ice from within the Earth and the gods (sounds sorta counter intuitive), the mini-snowstorm I've created, and two life crystals. It'll hopefully have the power of three or four life crystals, and some ice magick powers. To do all of this, Jen uses her ice staff which gives +2 to ice magic rolls, and her blizzard bonus, which makes ice magicks more powerful, hopefully making the life crystals more powerful and as a result, the titanous protector of the mount more powerful.

 

Also, Jen attempts to create a small five foot wall made of pure ice (non slippery) encircling the top of the mountain.

If its also powered by the gods, you have use divinity, everyones is low, so I dont think you could have it powered by the gods, and btw the dice archi uses was a dicegen wasnt it?

How much loot did I get from the golem golem dungeon?

Well, I'd just use a D20, and then judge the results based on the number. So if you got 8-12, you do the action with no bonus or drawback, but anything lower, you get a negative effect or fail, and anything higher, you get a bonus.

 

Also, Mather, the dungeon exploded after me and Grim decided to attack a generator (Derp.)

Everyone except Igos and like one other person died. There was no loot except for some rocks and crystals which were scattered and gatherd by random people.

So far my hero has been poisoned twice, died from one...

Geomancy IS earth magic

Wait, what about an elemental crystal and a comet? I think that the GM decides what you find after you investigate it, to be honest. And a +2.0 boost is a heck ton. Pretty overpowering, really. This isn't the sort of game where you decide what you find, it's more "You search, the GM tells you what you find."

I kind of have no choice now, though I will be meeting up with other towns to set up trade to improve exile

I still think a two level boost is a little overpowering.

 

Let's say 1.0 level boost in a combat skill, 2.0 level boost in any craft or noncombat skill.

Then I guess it counts as a combat skill.

 

Something that would be impractical to use in combat (Smithing, intellect etc.) would be a noncombat skill, to be honest.

Ross, you can't train every hour and say .4 every hour and go offline, thats a bit OP'd you should just say you train for a while, and just settle for the ltitle stat boost

... That's kind of what I planned to do. It's not like I plan to gain 9 levels in a day with no effort.
