Kemios awakens, and once again goes to the top of one of his towers to practice lightning magic on some birds.

Archarnis-

You knock another of the arms off.

 

Jen-

You summon an ice elemental. It screams in pain and then destroys itself. Somehow, you don't think this is a normal cave.

 

Igos-

You knock the armour apart. A small red crystal in the shape of a human heart is left on the floor. It seems to have some kind of spiderweb of black dye in the centre.

As I arrive at the cave Jen is at, I continue deeper into it, looking for an opponent.

"Don't touch it!"

Mather, I'm taking most of the loot. If you're not okay with that, please leave. Meanwhile, Jen throws in a rock to see if it gets incinerated. She also tries to summon a weak ice thrall using bones she senses beneath the ground, which she then tries to send inside the cave to scout.

Igos uses the skeletal hand to carefully pick it up, making sure that it is safe to handle. (swordsmanship exp for destroying the armor?)

Archarnis tries to use Majestry to analyse the heart thing without actually picking it up.

Mather, I'm taking most of the loot. If you're not okay with that, please leave.

Meh I decided to venture deep into the cave and attempt to solo whatever's in there.

Hakon-

You see nothing but pitch darkness

 

Rocco-

You succeed in summoning an imp. +0.2 demonology

 

Jen-

The ice thrall kills itself. Your ice spawn begins to show signs of a migraine.

 

Igos-

The skeletal hands seem unaffected by the crystal. +0.2 Swordsmanship xp.

 

Archarnis-

You know something is terribly wrong with the crystal, but cannot point out exactly what it is.

I send my ice spawn back to my tower to recuperate. Then I walk into the entrance of the cave (like at the very beginning of the cave) and attempt to cast a basic ice spell, to see if it works.

Anyway, Umbra orders the shadow tendril to pick up the gem and give it to me

Kemios continues to shoot at birds with lightning magic.

I try to anaylse it again with Majestry. I also check to see if the armour is really dead :blink: .

Jen-

Your magic works fine.

 

Umbra-

You succeed, and while doing so, you notice a gem on the floor next to a skeletal hand with a scroll.

 

Kemios-

You kill a pigeon. +0.1 lightning magic.

 

Archarnis gains +0.3 Majestry

 

Ares attempts to create a shining and dark elemental.

He succeeds, and binds them to Elysium.

Dammit, I need some light...

 

I excavate outside the cave.

Igos also analizes the heart with his necro, and then puts the heart in his bag. He then searches for the helmet that fell off earlier.

Jen tries to create an ice shield which is much more powerful than a normal one. If she fails, she tries to create a normal ice shield. Jen also tries to create a light orb to see further in the cave.

Archarnis says hi to Igos and loots the rest of the Goblins.

Kemios collects the pigeon's remains and stores them in his cooling room for later use. He then returns to killing birds with lightning magic.

Grim creates two new rooms in his house. One of them is large and spartan with simply a large open space. The other is a smaller room with a lecturn in the center and several engraved pentacles in the floor.

Grim again tries to fuse the life shards into life crystals with force magic. After he does that he tries to create a fire golem with the aid of a pentacle using two life crystals.

Grim, you should make a brimstone tower and a volcano. Then we could be two feared mages with opposing elements, yet still allied.

I intend to but I have several things to do. Also I am going to try to remain a free agent.

Well it doesn't matter about the strict ally thing. It's more of a "no massive war of the elements" kinda thing.

Hakon-

There is nothing in the rock. At all.

 

Igos-

You get as vauge a reading as Archi, and successfully find the helmet. It has two downwards pointing horns on, and is black with a yellow trim. You sense that it will improve your skill with swords (+2 to rolls). It has a name engraved on the inside of the neck - "Fafnir"

 

Jen-

You fail to create a strong ice shield, and then succeed to create a regular one. Jen creates a powerful light orb (+0.3 light magic) and it helps her see into the cave, but not as far as it would normally. This wasn't natural darkness they were dealing with.

 

Umbra-

You take the gem. nothing seems to happen, and it doesn't seem to hold any useful magical energies.

 

Archarnis-

You loot the six goblin corpses. You find 2 rubies, 2 emeralds, a flame ring (+1 to fire rolls), and 125 GP.

 

Grim-

You succeed in creating the rooms, but fail to create a golem.

 

Kemios-

You kill another pigeon. You don't think you can learn anything else from killing birds.
