Igos explores the shadow realm.

(I was going to say, but decided not to.)

 

Igos-

It's the same as the normal world, except devoid of all life aside from Mather, Jen, Umbra, and the shadow being (If you could say it's alive)

I try to regain strength as the monster is preoccupied

Håkon fires a magekiller bolt at the shadow.

Igos channels some of his energy to Umbra using necro.

Umbra-

You fail to regain your strength.

 

Hakon-

The bolt flies towards the shadow, who grabs it from the air and snaps it in two.

 

Igos-

You succeed, Umbra stands up again. +.1 necro.

Oh [bleep], it's imune against anti-magic.

 

Håkon flees. (I'm sitting duck with no counter-meassure otherwise.)

I begin to assess my environment, anything that can be used to my advantage

Hakon-

You run for a few minutes and get a fair distance away from the fight.

 

Umbra-

It's basically flat ground, and without trees or grass, very little cover. There is a rocky hill nearby though.

I go to the hill

Håkon sits down and attempts to enchant his armor with pure magic.

Umbra-

The shadow follows you to the hill.

 

Hakon-

You accidentily destroy your armour due to the inverted magic, which instead of enhancing it, destroyed it.

I survey whats over the hill, if the shade catched up I will block its attack, if it hasn't I will continue to flee

Igos fires a beam of necromancy at the shade.

(My plan is since everything is inverse, it should be something that is able to dispel the shade, since it is the opposite of necro, right?)

Kemios checks to see if anything remains of the vine golem.

Umbra-

Over the hill is more plains, also completely devoid of life, and also bathed in the dusky glow.

 

Igos-

The shade seems unphased by the attack.

 

(I guess you guys have been struggling for long enough, and I should reveal that the shade is pretty much immune to everything, and will take a heckton of a beating before going down.)

 

Kemios-

The golem's body is currently in a 50 foot deep pit with solidified magma covering it.

Okay then. Kemios attempts to cool the magma with water magic, while standing somewhere where he cannot fall into the pit.

Damn, I thought my light had some effect, it toppled it over :<

 

I turn and try to do a sideways arc from caladbolg aimed right at the creature

Kemios-

The magma is already solid.

 

Umbra-

The shade once again grabs the energy and throws it to the side.

 

(Just as some assurance, you are damaging it, just very, very little.

Kemios attempts to use earth magic to lift the solidified magma (since solidified magma is technically earth) with the golem's corpse in it up to the surface.
