After arriving in New Exile, Jen notices some carnage. What does she see? (Have to go take a shower quick, be back soon!)

I charge at the figure, when he swings his sword, depending on the motion, i'll duck or strafe or attempt to parry, when I get near the figure I will try cut off its sword arm

Grim deepens the pit before filling it with hell-fire.

(Wait a sec, I didn't know that anything was going on at the Ivory tower, can I just stay back at the golem?)

Håkon starts hacking away at the weld using his pickaxe.

Jen-

Not much. The town is as it was before.

 

Umbra-

The figure swings it's sword diagonally downwards. You are unable to evade it, but you manage to block it using Caladbolg. You are sent flying for about 6 metres.

 

Grim-

(Double 20.) You succeed and kill the golem. +.4 fire magic.

 

Igos-

Kinda ruins the fun, don't you think? Besides, the golems dead now.

 

Hakon-

You smash the cage door open, and the animated armour immediately turns to you.

I let out the rainbow arc from Caladbolg

 

And charge as well, I keep caladbolg at guard still and will also try to evade, I become aware of diagonal stikes

Grim checks the corpse of the golem for loot before summoning a fire elemental. He then asks mather for directions to the soon to be fire spirt.

Awww, no more funz with the golem.

Jen wanders to the Ivory tower and asks the head mage if she would be able to make an ice phoenix familliar which listened to her and could breathe an icy breath, if she sacrificed some skill points.

I ask where it's head is, pointing as well as asking.

Umbra-

The figure grabs the arc, it seems to tear at the material which makes up it's arm, before the figure swings it and launches the energy bolt behind him.

 

It blocks with it's sword.

 

Grim-

The remains are currently in a 50 foot deep pit, filled with lava.

 

Jen-

You go to the Ivory Tower and you are promptly dragged into the Dusk. Your exit route closes behind you. You note Igos and Umbra, as well as a shadowy figure.

 

Hakon-

Without a head it is too stupid to do anything.

I side step and roll, and try to lunge forward with caladbolg while trying to block with my shortsword

Grim goes off in search of the soon to be fire spirit. When he finds it he will attempt to merge the fire-elemental with it. If that does not succeed he breaks out the mage-death arrows and the silver.

I search the room, taking anything smaller than a chair.

Umbra-

You feel the sword connect, before looking up and realising that the figure blocked with one of it's hands.

 

It swings it's sword, but you manage to deflect it with the onyx sword.

 

Grim-

You approach the area the fire spirit is in. The heat is intense, and their is a thick smog over the entire cave and surrounding forest.

 

Mather-

You find dishes, pots, some cutlery, a smaller chair, an ornate clock with a strange insignia on it, which appears to have stopped working, and a torn shirt. Do you want to keep anything?

While still connected I attempt to let off another arc

 

I also jump back, and evade around the figure, while keeping the swords at guard

I use geomancy and fire magic to create a hell-fire forge before continuing warily into the cave. When I find the fire spirit I will use the fire elemental to attack it.

Jen says hi to the shadowy figure and asks him/her why he/she brought her here.

I dismantel the cage, collecting the bars.

You go near Ivory, that happens, and it wont answer

Umbra-

The sword is not recharged.

 

The shadow does a 360 spin and smashes you with the flat side of it's sword, knocking you about a dozen metres away.

 

Grim-

You fail to create a forge. You enter the cave and proceed to attack the fire spirit, who promptly absorbs the fire elemental.

 

Jen-

You're here because Umbra managed to create a portal to the Dusk which is slowly enveloping the Ivory Tower. The shadow is fighting Umbra at the moment, although you get the feeling it is watching you, even though it isn't facing you.

 

Hakon-

The bars are stuck in the ceiling and floor, they wont budge.

Hmm I attempt to talk with it. If this fails I shoot some mage-death arrows at it and start jabbing at it with my silver spear with the crystal embed shield guarding me.

Jen always shows up when I'm fighting bosses :D

 

I try keep distance from me and the shadow figure, and dot around, strafing and being generally evasive

 

How many turns till recharged?

(Nooooo, the second time I go into another dimension because of you! Nooooooooooooooooooooo!)

 

Jen begins charging up her ice shards. She wonders if she can help Umbra or if the shadow will only duel a single warrior at a time. If she can help, then she fires a freezing ray at the shadow's feet.

People honestly need to think before creating alternate dimensions or giant fire explosions :P
