Can't say.

The shadow charges and swings, but you jump to the side and dodge it.

 

Jen-

Your magic is inverted. You throw a fireball at the shadow, and it seems utterly oblivious to it.

I respond "I just wish to talk with such an exalted being"

I continue my evasiveness backing away and making sure I'm as far away as possible

Hm.....

 

Jen fires a hot jet of water at the shadow figure using her anti-magic, wondering what will happen.

 

(Does this creature only react to melee? And should I come and help?)

I start guiding the armour out.

Grim-

"I have no tttime for such nonsense" shouts the spirit, before throwing a fireball in your general direction.

 

Umbra-

You continue to dodge the shadow.

 

Jen-

You throw more fire.

(You can try to help if you want. It doesn't really react to much, if I'm honest.)

 

Hakon-

You push the armour out of the cage.

I try using light magic (so it comes out as shadow) to whip the being from afar, while continuing to dodge

I dodge the fire-ball and say "now that was hardly nice" I then attempt to draw upon the energy in the crystal in my tungsten shield. If things go sour I go outside and create a hellfire forge with aid from my battlestaff.

Jen attempts to create a small ball of ice, to test if magicks work differently in this dimension or whether it was just because she was firing it at the shadow. Then she tries to make some ice javalins and throws them at the shadow.

I guidee the armour to the Ivory tower.

Umbra-

The shadow doesn't seem to react.

 

Grim-

The spirit places its hand on the shield, melting a hole in it. "Leave noww..." it says.

 

Jen-

You create a ring of fire. You create a fire javelin, and it burns your hand.

 

Hakon-

You get dragged into the Dusk. The armour is left behind.

 

 

I find it rather amusing how THE EXACT SAME THING has happened FOUR of you, in quick succession. You don't even read what is happening to the others, do you? :blink:

I try to release a huge light beam at the Shadow, if its disorientated I will charge it, if it had no effect, I continue to dodge

 

Feeling tired, can someone aggro this [bleep]?

I leave rather quickly. I then go to my tower and get my cart before going west in search of a town.

EDIT: @ ross I read what happens to other people and at times it amuses me greatly.

Jen attempts to fire ice javalins at the shadow, such that it forms into a cohesive fire javalin while flying, so it becomes non magical and it doesn't burn my hand by the time it hits the shadow.

Umbra-

You blast the shadow. It stops the beam with one hand, but appears unable to throw it, like before. It places it's other hand on the beam and struggles for a while, before being enveloped in it. Umbra collapses due to the powerful attack. The shadow, who is bent over backwards from the force of the beam, stands back up and turns to Jen.

 

Grim-

You find Caster, before ending up on a beach.

 

Jen-

What? You make some fire javelins and burn your hand again...

Jen runs in a circle around the shadow so that she ends up near Umbra. Then she tries to fire ice javelins at the shadow again.

 

(It's like she's firing a bolt of ice at the shadow, but it forms into a flaming javalin as it is flying, so she doesn't get burned)

(I thought caster was north...) I try again going south to the wall. Once there I go in the direction of mountains.

Okay, last roll, since I'm tired.

 

Jen-

You reach Umbra, before being knocked about 20 feet into the sky by a large chunk of metal.

 

There was never any ice to begin with, you just can't create ice.

 

Grim-

You reach a crossroads. There are four paths.

I'm stuck in the same dusk as the others, right?

 

I fire a magekiller bolt at the shadow Jen is fighting.

I guess it's a good thing that whoever was supposed to control Kemios didn't. Seeing as you would've probably gotten him thrown into the Dusk too.

I feel lucky, I fell asleep right as Ross stopped rolling :D

I wonder how early we can start if we just are three soon enough.

After I finish eating dinner at like 7:00-8:00 if there are three of you.
