I go to pick up the onyx shortsword, and then look for obvious openings and exploit them, as it has a basic system of attacking

Jen tries to add more ice shards to the hail with her ice staff, while backing away slowly. Then she calls them back for a moment (so they back away slightly) so that she tries to encase the shade in a giant coccoon of ice. Then the ice shards go back circling it.

Thats true, but I think as we can't control multi chars and planning is difficult, I vote we just blow the crap outta it with our most powerful attacks, or what our imagination can comprehend
