Umbra-

The shade blocks every single attack with it's unnatural reflexes, before parrying the last blow and knocking the onyx blade from your hand.

 

Mather-

You fire vacuum electricity (Too technical...?) backwards, hitting Jen with them, doing some minor damage.

 

Jen-

You heal Umbra, but ice is a solid and you can't manipulate it properly.

+.1 healing.

I go to pick up the onyx shortsword, and then look for obvious openings and exploit them, as it has a basic system of attacking

What happened to inversed magic?

 

Håkon attempts to launch continous beams of electricity at the shade (think the Emperor in Star Wars).

Jen attempts to heal her minor damage, then attempts to create a geyser under the shade.

 

(Maybe we're weakening the shade, so it doesn't inverse)

Umbra-

As you jump to grab the sword, the shade cuts your arm off at the elbow.

 

Hakon-

It doesn't inverse the direction you cast it in.

You fire a beam of electricity at the shade. It doesn't seem bothered by it. +.2 electricity.

 

Jen-

You heal yourself, and then create a tiny amount of fire from the floor. +.1 healing.

Jen attempts to heal Umbra's arm back onto his body, before attempting to strangle the shade with a constricting band of ice using her ice staff.

Håkon attempts to create a ball of force inside the shade before letting it explode (or implode).

I keep the shortsword near me so if I die it comes back with me

 

I then try to release an arc attack aimed at the shade

Jen-

You heal Umbra's arm. +.1 healing.

The shade doesn't breathe.

 

Hakon-

The explosive force doesn't seem to phase the shade.

 

Umbra-

You shade dodges the arc of energy before cleaving you in two from the shoulder. You die. Choose .5 xp to lose.

Igos unleashes the stored energy into a massive pryokinesis beam.

I try to create a large stable light orb

Håkon attempts to capture the shade in a prison of stone, using geomancy.

Jen begins running the hell away in the opposite direction, watching to see if the shade is running towards her. She attempts to create a large ice wall between her and the shade as she runs, using her ice staff.

Igos-

You hit the shade, but it blocks most of the beam with it's swords. +.2 pyro.

 

Umbra-

You create an orb, but it is unstable (Unstable generally means more powerful, but theres a chance it'll blow your arms off or something)

 

Hakon-

You create a tornado around the shade, it spins around at rapid speeds in the opposite direction and stops it. +.1 geomancy.

 

Jen-

Good call, it is targeting you. You create a flame wall, but the shade jumps towards it, and slashes through it in an X-shape. +.1 ice.

Ok lets say I learned my lesson and made it far away from me

 

I launch it right at the shade

Jen attempts to confuse the shade by manuevering shards of hail around the shade, making it seem like he's looking at an illusion. The hail is designed to reform around him should he slice through it. Then she prepares to face the shade head on.

Håkon attempts to shoot pillars of rock at the shade.

Igos waits till the shade is distracted blocking another attack, and then proceeds to launch another pyro beam at it.

Umbra-

You hit the shade directly, knocking it about a foot to the side. +.2 dark

 

Jen-

The shade does not "Look" Per-se. It also doesn't know confusion. However, the shade appears to have stopped within the ice shards. +.1 ice

 

Hakon-

You hit the un-moving shade with a few powerful gusts of wind. +.1 geomancy

 

Igos-

You blast the shade with a beam of fire. +.1 pyro.

I call light from the sky to concentrate on the shade as it is down (kind of like from the heavens)

Jen tries to add more ice shards to the hail with her ice staff, while backing away slowly. Then she calls them back for a moment (so they back away slightly) so that she tries to encase the shade in a giant coccoon of ice. Then the ice shards go back circling it.

We need to plan a set of attacks, I can contribute with force, geo, el and ranged

Thats true, but I think as we can't control multi chars and planning is difficult, I vote we just blow the crap outta it with our most powerful attacks, or what our imagination can comprehend

Igos uses his pyrokinesis to add to the ice shards.
