Umbra-

Blood magic needs to be learnt before you can use it at will.

Grim-

You arrive back at the start.

Kemios-

You finish your map. +.1 cartography.

Jen-

Yeah, sorry. +.2 xp.

You jump back up.

Hakon-

Because the posts are not in chronological order, I arbitarily decide what happens first and last.

Hakon fails to heal.

Igos-

The blast hits the shade, and appears to deal damage, but doesn't slow it. (For the record, stopping this thing by injuring limbs or restricting movement is really difficult, and will probably end up worse for you in the long run due to game mechanics which I can't say anything more about)

The shade breaks free.

Ok guys heres the plan, we have to time our attacks so he can't block of them, and thus gets a direct hit on one.

I check if caladbolg is recharged

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Jen tries to fire a healing bolt at Hakon, before attempting to make ice burst out of the shade's wings.

Kemios-

You see the ivory tower in a mysterious black glow.

Umbra-

It is.

Jen-

You fail to heal Hakon, and succeed in hitting the shade's wings, which doesn't slow it in the slightest (Didn't you read what I said?)

Hakon-

(That would be multi-charactering, so nope.)

You heal yourself, albeit very poorly. You load your crossbow.

The shade cuts your arm off. You are now heavily bleeding, and can't really fire a crossbow or use a weapon.

Grim-

You arrive back at the start.

Kemios decides to avoid the ivory tower - after all, mysterious black glows typically indicate either explosions or disgustingly powerful monsters.

Instead, he goes hunting in a nearby forest.

(And Grim, why are you trying to get through that forest anyways?)

He's probaly like a Hydra. How did Hercules beat Hydra again?

---------

Jen tries to heal Hakon again, then she tries to make the floor within 50 feet of her very slippery with ice magic, to impede its movement using her ice staff. This does not include the three feet around her.

Well didn't the shade sorta jump-fly? Logically it would slip around a bit.

Grim-

You arrive back at the start.

Kemios-

While wandering around the forest, you hear a large group of people approaching.

Jen-

You heal Hakon, but his arm is still severed. You succeed in making the floor slippery, accidentily making sure that the battle is as hard as possible for your team mates. (Umbra is right. It hovers about two feet off of the ground.) +.1 healing

Umbra-

The shade did not drop it's sword.

you create an unstable orb of light. +.1 dark.

Hakon-

It doesn't have eyes. You attempt to kick it, but it grabs your foot and throws you several metres. You are now unconcious and bleeding profusely.

Igos-

you succeed in healing Hakon. +.2 necro.

The shade stabs downwards with it's blade, impaling Hakon directly through the torso. Somehow, he is still alive, but cannot speak, act or move, and is pinned down.

I try to envelope the shade in the light orb and then cause it to implode on him, so it doesn't hurt hakon

Jen tries to heal Hakon again, while trying to form a giant icicle over the shade. It might take some time, and she'll drop it next action using her ice staff.

Umbra-

You orb explodes just in front of you, luckily not damaging anything.

Grim-

You can't. You arrive at a crossroad (You do remember that all the crossroads have 3 paths, right?)

Jen-

You fail to heal Hakon. You start to create a large spire of ice.

Hakon-

You cannot act.

The shade removes it's blade, and the sudden bleeding and organ damage kills Hakon. You respawn nearby. Choose .5 xp to lose.

Igos shoots another necro beam at the shade while it is distracted.
