Grim tries again to regrow his hand. He also tries a geomancy scan to look around.

Umbra pulls out the thorns just as the band reach him.

All but one are tired from the run and thus can't attack. Unfortunately that one person is exceptionaly strong, doing massive damage to you.

 

As you draw the Caladburn he strikes you and you ready it for the next round of combat.

Grim somehow manages to regrow his hand.

Your scans show you are at the head of a long staircase which seems to have just started from the wall behind you...You notice that you are a very, very long way from your tower.

Umbra lets out and energy wave in a 360 wave, he then tries to finish off any survivors

Ares takes the box, and then checks if he has got the herb(s) he needed, before heading back to Ivory if he has.

Umbra is struck twice before he can activate the weapon...and is pretty much slaughter.

Lose 3.2 Skill points.

Ares-

Umbra puts on the crystal that makes him invisible, goes to a location that overlooks the place of his previous death and tries to summon a dark and shadow shield, a few shadow tendrils, and a few dark elementals.

Grim proceeds down the staircase. On his way he summons an abyssal fire shield with aid from his battlestaff.

Grim-

The firery shield draws a hive of fire flies towards it.

Umbra- 15 minutes

OOPS

I dismiss the shield and continue down.

Ares arrives at Ivory, and showst he head mage the box, telling him that there is a mandrake plant inside.

Grim-

You come to a junction, there are red glowing mushrooms in the walls which cast the whole area in an eerie light.

Ares-

He nods, seemingly less than interested with your victory over a plant.

Ares asks the mage where he should put it, before asking whether there are any other odd-jobs which need doing.

I go right avoiding the mushrooms. I check for traps as I go.

Ares-

"See if one of the other mages wants it..." He puts down his quill and looks at you...."I need you to do something for me..."

Grim-

You hear the padding of massive paws on the ground from behind you.

I spin around and look to see what is following me. I summon a barrage of fire-balls with my pendant but keep them in check and ready a mage-death arrow.

Jen continues down into the cave, looking for traps as before. She feels really sad for losing Wubbles (stupid Ivory mages).

Grim-

As you spin around you are sent flying by some massive Red, Orange and Black something! Fortunately you take no major damage.

Ares asks what needs doing.

Jen hears the sound of running water up ahead.
