With some coxing Jen and Wubbles start practicing.

5 minutes

Håkon heads back to the armor and guides it to the New Exile blacksmith.

Umbra-

As you cheer the woman at the front calls your forwards.

I say "Wonderful weather we are having. May I inquire upon your wares?"

Hakon, what?

(Huh, what?)

I stand, trying to keep the illusion of pride for the group, and walk up.

Grim-

"Of course" You puruse the wares and spot a ring which looks magical.

Jen-

5 minutes training, since you are praciting with Wubbles, not just on your own.

I ask him "how much for the ring?" If it is less than 1,000 gold I buy it.

Umbra-

They see though your false confidence and the woman asks your name.

I say Umbra.

Grim-

"For you sir... 3,000 coins."

Hakon, what?

I walk back to the living armor and lead it to the blacksmith in New Exile.

(I'm back, went to go cook some bacon.)

 

Ares enters the Ivory tower, and explains his tale to the head mage, asking what should be done about the eastern lands, and asking if he would be able to locate his lost equipment.

I pay the man and then leave to continue pacing.

Umbra-

"And Senior Umbra, what is it that draws your into the midsts of this meeting of the Takers?"

After completing their training, she wonders how they did. Then she heads to the mine and sets Wubbles done, telling her to stay still while Jen looks for something for her to eat. Then she looks for something for Wubbles to eat in the mine, careful to keep watch on Wubbles at all times.

Hakon-

Living armour?

"A search for inner self and power" I say truthfully

Ares-

The head mage listens patiently to your tale and nods slowly. "Well it would take some weeks for us to get there... We can send an envoy, see if we can learn their language, but as for your equiptment...I am afraid to say I think you might have lost it for good."

Hakon-

Living armour?

The helmless armor I found inside a cage.

Grim-

You have brought the Ring of Nethersee.

You continue pacing, the crystal a slightly stronger.

(Hakon found a suit of living armour without a helmet. Until it gets a suitably enchanted helmet, it is basically a puppet.)

 

Ares says that the envoy will likely be killed. I did nothing to provoke the people, and they stuck me in a circus cage. He then asks if there are any tasks that need doing, since he has very little occupying his time, and needs money to buy more equipment.

Jen-
