Random Event Gift no Lamp

I just finish Quiz Master while cooking, i open the gift and shock to see that lamp didnt in 1 of the selection. this is my first time where random event didnt give out lamp, is Quiz Master the only 1 didnt give out lamp?

It isn't guaranteed that you'll get an Experience lamp option from every Random event :)

 

After all, the rewards are, well, random. :P

Happend to me once. It's totally random if you get it or not.

I must say the exp lamp is almost everytime in the box, but you are one of the lucky ones, such as me, who had a random event without the lamp.

 

In my case, I just took the herbs (3 Toadflax). Just for chosing something.

Either that's a glitch (every gift should have one), or it was just your unluckiness. Dunno which. :unsure:

I don't think the Quiz Master gives out xp lamps. I've gotten it twice in the last month and didn't get a lamp either time. The maze doesn't give you a lamp either.

I can't recall the quiz master giving a lamp, probably because the previous reward was a mystery box which was rather worthless too and it's an easy random.

i didnt get lamp nor book of knowledge.

as i say, before this, my EVERY random event gift contain 1 of it (lamp or book), as i already get through maze few times, i remember i get something that can increase my exp

The maze gives you stackables, you don't have a choice on it

Theres a few randoms that dont give out lamps

Besides the Maze i dont recall any random at present that gives items without you be able to choose what you want. That said i dont recall the random but within the last few weeks i got one that didnt give me the choice of an xp lamp.

I've gotten randoms that didn''t give out XP lamps. Rare but not impossible.

There may be certain randoms that don't give you the option of choosing an experience lamp as a reward, and certain randoms that do. However, Tip.It doesn't really have a list of which do and don't at this time.

 

As several users above have commented on experiencing this same thing, I think it's safe to say that it's random, and that it is not an in-game glitch. :P

The chance of receiving a lamp increases as your pass record increases. So the more random events you pass the more likely a lamp is available. It never quite reaches 100% though I don't think. It's easy to see this by getting some wrong a few times before completing it correctly - the lamp is not offered for a few events afterwards.
