Camping Dusties

So I FINALLY got 65 slayer and I want to camp dusties to get a spirit graahk for a little nat crafting.

 

At my def stats and setup (Seen below) would B2P tabs be enough to keep me on top of the healing process?

Obby Cape

Ammy of Glory

Torag's plate

Torag's legs

Dragon Boots

Whip/Scimmy (Attack/Strength training)

Rune defender

It should be, just bring a few cheap food and you should do fine. Dont forget Alchs for the battlestaves and the rune daggers you get. And don't dorget you mask/slayer helm.

If you want to camp and ok with range then, I would recommend ranging. There is a safe spot and no food required.. just broad bolts.

Skip the neitiznot, you need a facemask or a slayer helm. Other than that you'll be fine with b2p tabs. They also drop kebabs from time to time :) Good luck!

Yes i can tell you from experiance you will do fine camping there with that set up and b2p. I did them when my stats were bout equal to yours, just make sure you use facemask/slayer Helm like metioned.

I also have some experience when my stats were actually lower than yours, and I did just fine with B2P, especially since they tend to drop Uganthi (sp?) Kebabs that are pretty decent for healing.

Yes it's fine. I can stay there with the same (well almost) stats, and be good with B2P.

They tend to drop kebabs too, so bring some cheap food if you wish.

And get rid of the Neitzinot helmet, and bring facemask or slayer helmet. Or you can't camp there, but we can invite your friends for your funeral :wink:

No really, you need the facemask/earmufs+facemask from Smoking Kills or Slayer helmet to stay alive.

 

Take enough B2P, bring fire staff + nats for rune daggers, battlestaves and red dhide vambraces, some cheap food, and kill away.

Dust devils are overrated for crimsons, your much better off killing waterfiends. Use bull ant with extra food and you should be able to last long enough to get more crimsons/hour.

Even with his stats? I have almost the same stats and I blocked waterfiends until I hit like 90 att, str and def, because I'm convinced it would only be a loss of money using ppots and such to go to waterfiends.

Dusties are about 35 crimson per hour which is the same as killing about 35 waterfiends in one hour. Say it takes 1 minute per kill and you have to bank twice (using glory to edgeville then fairy rings) thats easily 45 per hour.

You'll use a fair bit of food, but due to the rising prices of sapphires, herbs and there other drops you should break even.

Well, I think Dusties is better money, and the charms come in good. It's really your call what you want: break even at waterfiends, or still camp at dusties and earn some money along the way :mrgreen:

You have to pray at waterfiends the extra food is due to the lack of healing familiar.

People always undervalue most of the waterfiends common drops.

 

Dusties are better combat exp there no doubt about that, but there lacking if you just want the charms.

Well, for me, I give it a try at waterfiends. Maybe buy me back the SS.

Wrong With Prayer Pots u do not lose money. I repeat do not lose money. Have u even tested this or do u just say it ? I have tested before i hada bunyip i did trips with 5 Pray pots never lost money drops always made up for them. I use a ss and karils 5 p pots 15 sharks/ monks, way more charms then dust devils and did not lose money.

If you read it Umoria said he/she hasn't been to waterfiends thinking they are to hard, and is just stating that you lost money thinking you do. If you actually been you know that you can make a lot of profit back.

 

I also suggest you take 5 mushrooms with you and fix the fairy ring. It makes it even easier to bank and you can bring a BoB with you to hold more food.

It's Ugthanki =P
