CBC
Agility has long helped adventurers excel in other skills in subtle ways e.g. letting them run for longer while crafting runes or letting them take shortcuts to get to resources faster. Today, Agility steps up in its role as a support skill in a more direct way. Adventurers keen on Fishing will be interested to know that a high Agility level now gives them a small chance to catch two tuna, swordfish or even sharks in one go. Theres no additional experience when this occurs, but who could say no to a free shark or two? Similarly, adventurers with high Agility and Thieving levels now stand a chance of pickpocketing double, triple or even quadruple the usual amount of loot from unsuspecting targets. Finally, those with exceptionally high Hunter and Agility levels can now return to the butterflies they once lumbered after with their big clumsy nets and show the amateurs how its really done, by catching butterflies in the palm of their hands before releasing them (just to prove they didnt smush them). Such a display of skill and finesse will be rewarded with a large dose of Hunter experience and a little extra Agility experience too. Mod EdamRunescape Content Developer===================================================================I know there is another post on today's updates, but that post is messy and mostly about BA. Let's talk about how this Agility update affects Fishing, Thieving, and Hunter.

CBC
I was going to train Hunter on red chins. Now I want to see how good catching butterflies is. Glad that got 99 Agility last year.
Jon Arcane
I like the updates here, could come in handy to raise hunter and agility on my skiller account one day since cash won't be a tremendous concern for me.
Peronix
This update I like. I was considering getting 99 agility anyway, more reason to defiantly doesn't hurt. Though I'm a little disappointed that the butterflies start at 80 hunter. Going to be a pain getting that up to 80. Hopefully then I won't have much competition like you obviously have at red chins. Seer
catching butterflies without a net yields 650 hunter exp and 125 agil exp for the highest butterfly. Thats insane exp and that just gave me an incentive to go train lol I am known only as The Seer. I have many names and many different forms. Kekek
Much less clicking than chins + some agility xp too. I have 98 agility + 89 hunter. That means I'll get 99 agility with hunting, and I hated catching chins. Awesome update!

Not getting anything but fast exp? it's actually relatively slow as you prance around the butterfly for a long time as if you're in a slow motion montage. Toad
So the xp ain't good? I caught about 3 but I never tested time it takes on average or trialled say 10 minutes so don't take my word on this one
Maximusa
Interesting but they could of tried putting in agility shortcuts. Like at aquanites for just one example. Atm you can use two shortcuts and still have to run around alot. One in the middle direct to them seems like a good spot for a new shortcut. I dont ever fish those fish .. But im grateful as it would just clog up my inventory lol. (Since no experience for them.) Dont mind some extra ontop pickpocketing though. Ronan
This was the tracking for me, at Level 95 Agility and 88 Hunter for catching Sapphire Glacialis'. I know the timing's relatively short but it may give you an idea. <[uK]RuneScript> *** [ END [AGILITY] ]: You gained 2,660 agility exp in 11mins 21secs. That's 14,061 exp/h. Estimated time to level up: 21hrs 20mins 28secs<[uK]RuneScript> *** [ END [HUNTER] ]: You gained 15,200 hunter exp in 11mins 18secs. That's 80,707 exp/h. Estimated time to level up: 24mins 47secs Edit: I'll just add that I was focused throughout the timings, but it was just the first try at it so there may well be a possibility that the rates could increase once you get used to the method of hunting. Clicking the butterflies initially (certainly the polar ones!) can be quite tricky as they're so small!
Mirror
I could say no to a free shark. Wouldn't it better to just keep fishing than having your inventory fill faster when going for fishing exp? Now I have the possibility of having a filled load, without having the filled exp. Oh well, I'm in the minority, so I'll just sit here and accept the new change. Oh and no method is wrong. :) A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
