The tank development program costs now include the construction of 500 battle tanks for each participant in the program. The budget for the program is still 35 billion.

So...you all get uber tanks? Doesn't that kind of cancel the point? After all, if everyone ubers, it ceases to be ubering. AKA, you're throwing a ton of money at a project which will put you all on equal terms in tank quality. Considering the fact that basically everyone has 4th gen tanks now, wouldn't it be better for you if you just created your own tank to be better than those which dont have 4th gen tanks?

I've decided that since projects don't get anywhere with more money, I will just make more projects. So I have 20 or so projects going on right now.

 

I don't see how Exoskeletons are that feasible either. The thing that I said about the hardkill measures with firing missles at missles exist today in modern tanks, so I don't see how that isn't feasible. I accept the judgement on the other stuff, but I don't agree with this one.

 

The reason I wanted to make an uber tank in the first place is because of the exoskeletal research. According to those pictures people were putting up, it seemed to me that they were ubering as well, hence the tank production. Anyways, if I can't defend myself using more advanced tanks, then I guess I'll have to make more of them.

 

Anyways, would it be fair to say that my tanks were 50% stronger than the M1 Abram (US tank issued in 1980) because my tanks are larger and cost 100 million a piece, while the Abrams cost 60 million a piece?

Want some small missiles to go with that Retech? Imagine the suits shooting darts containing compressed C4.

What is C4? I'm interested in creating some sort of turret with that mechanism though. Could you PM me the details? I'll purchase it, which can be negotiated of course.

Exoskeletons basically increase the power of infantry, but they cost a ton to produce. Less than a tank, but many times more than a normal infantry set of equipment, meaning they can be fielded in groups and can match a tank in offensive power.

Oh, I was under the impression they would be like those really wierd pics of Federation troops by Dusty last game. That's basically why I was thinking "Oh no."

C4 is an already existing stable plastic explosive, I've researched a way to compress it.

They ain't darts exactly, they're missiles the size of darts, cotaining compressed C4.

Mather, what would you like for this research? This seems perfect for my defence.

 

Are the darts cheap to produce? Is it possible to make them less explosive than normal?

Retech that will not matter that much as C-4 is relatively stable for an explosive (you need a blasting cap or something like that to set it off)

I was thinking of using them as hardkill on my main battle tanks. Just fire one at an oncoming missle and let it explode, neutralizing the missle. I can't have the explosion be too strong though, which is why I need them to be weaker.

How about cooperation on the exoskeleton research?

 

They wouldn't cost mouch, probably the same as 100-300g C4, an electronic impact detonator, a pen and a little bit fuel (unless you fire them by compressed air).

So about $15 or something each.

I'd be happy to work with you on the exoskeleton research, but it's not my area of expertise. Robotics can't hurt though, since Japan has also released an exoskeleton in 2009.

I just started today, when I learned that you only really need 1 billion a year for a project, so I had 20 projects that need funding. So I decided, why not research exoskeletons? So here we are.

Not really. Most projects don't even cost that much.

 

And money does not mean that you save time. That's like saying that you researched something instantly because you threw 300 billion into the project.

Japan is interested in working with the Slavic Republic on hydroponics. It points out that it could share its experience in terrace farming, to increase yields in decently fertile areas, while they could use hydroponics to grow things in poor soil areas.

 

Due to improvements of agriculture in Indonesia, Japan is now 95% sustainable in Agricultural products. The 5% is from agriculture consumed which cannot be grown in the climate.
