Honestly, my personal opinion is that this win was by the grace of numbers though. Impressive to be so active, but it's pretty embarrassing to be ko'd by 20 people. DW is good at transitions though, so I guess it just gives DF something to work on, that's all.

 

Not an excuse, but they pretty much just targeted all of our 118-, they still shouldn't be getting killed but it doesn't help.. :)

The matter of levels isn't an issue when it comes to tanking. A lvl 126 not paying attention in robes can be dropped just as easily as a lvl 100 in full rune. It's easy to fall into the habit of "Okay, they've got their snipers out, they've got their main pile, I'm safe!" and then get completely wrecked. Always gotta be paying attention.

 

But like I said, now you know that, as a clan, you've got another goal to work towards. There's nothing wrong with that. Goals, objectives, rivalries, it's what keeps clans alive. Handle it with grace and it'll be another reason to respect Downfall :thumbsup:

Now in matched you would pose a challenge.

Wow, GJ DW! I could have been there, but was spending that valuable time with my family watching Hot Fuzz <3 and anyway when I finished the film, war had started 3mins into it.

Shame to have seen DW kill so many people but I heard our binds were good so I suppose that is a +.

GF i was first pile, yet another pile dint tank as well as i wanted o had like 6pizza and a swordy left, happy i tanked 2killz though p.

 

Btw you gave away i was first pile when u binded me while we were rushing :D

just watched the vid... and 5 downfall got k0'd or killed with a half+ food (from what i believe).. However... everyone who didnt have a 3/4 to full food tank was a 117- (from what i can tell.. sorta blurry)... and you can see the first 3 dc's are while we had 28+ people. (unless snipers k0'd someone lul).

 

Im not defending the fact we had a sub-par performance from some of our lower lvl members... but Dragonwood is mainly 120+... and 120+ will out tank 115-110 cb most of the time.. even with 8 or so less members on pile (dc's came early). Its obvious that Dwood went after our low lvls (not a bad thing) as you can tell because of the lvls on ending opts pic... with 16 120+ members (out of our 35 on our memberlist and 18ish that were @ this fight?)

 

We've had better days... but dont come on here to troll if you cant do better.
