February 21, 201016 yr Like all the other diaries, you can use boosts to get the desired levels. But be warned that a +6 from a stew is very rare. Much better getting a few more lvls and going for a +4 or +5. February 21, 201016 yr I went over 500 stews without a +6 smithing boost, I strongly recommend getting 86 smithing before trying to stew :P
February 21, 201016 yr I tried from 85 and failed. Got loads of +5 boosts so i got an extra level and got it on my 4th stew. I'd like to finish the Ardougne diary, so I was just curious if I could use spicy stew to finish the diary? I asked this question a few weeks ago, and I also had 85 smithing. I was advised to rise my smithing lv to 86 as +5 smithing is a lot easier to get then +6. It took me about 40 evil stews to get the +5. So I would advised you to do the same.
