Shepherdman7
So I'll have 92 Summoning by this week, maybe in a couple days. I have questions about the Wolpertinger: 1. Is it a better fighter than the Geyser Titan?2. Boost is visible, correct? How many levels is it?3. Do scrolls work on headgear?4. Does boost stack with extreme magic potions or is it used in lieu of them? If it does stack, do all of these levels give extra damage (I think it's +3% damage per level)?5. Do the boosts in #3 (either of them or both) stack with weapon bonuses (i.e. +15% from SoL)? What about my full slayer helm? Essentially, what's the max bonus I can get if I want to Mage-Slay?6. Anything else I need to know about them? Thanks for the help. Hopefully some experience wolper-users can respond. :-) *******"All that is gold does not glitter..." glasscube
Boost is visible, just as the same as magic potions. Only combat scrolls can be used in headgear. The boost does not work with extreme potions in that they are both visible boosts. Help drive change Canada
Shelby_Polo
I find it to be a better fighter than geyser in most situations, I think it's because most monsters are weak to mage. Also, I don't think scrolls work in headgear because they're not technically used for damage combat. Suggest a poll for Tip.it - Here!
LatinII
Wolpertinger attacks with magic attacks (even though it looks like melee attacks) so it's very accurate on meleers. It hits 20+ pretty common.

Inuashakent
Higher attack, magic based, magic xp, and smaller... it is superior to geyser in most situations, because its small size is more significant than the geyser's ability to range. Cptbaker08
Using the Wolper's scroll i was able to hit a 46 on both Abyssal Demons and Nechs using fire surge and ice barrage, respectively. That was using a SoL and a Full Slayer Helm with only 90 magic, boosting to 97. Also it seems to be a bug where the Hexcrest and Focus Sight only work on monsters that require a slayer level to kill. etpelletier
Heya! 93 summoner speaking! :) 1. It is better than a Geyser Titan according to me. Geyser hits up to 21, and wolper's max is 22. Wolper hits using mage, although it needs to be close to the target to attack. The Geyser ranges, but this can be done from like six spaces far instead of one.2. Boost is visible, seven levels it is.3. Scrolls do not work on headgear.4. The boost does not stack.5. The boost stacks with bonus weapon attack. For example, i've hit lots of 39s with ice barrages, master wand and wolper.6. Well it is agressive, so as soon as you get attacked it strikes back, often stealing the monster's agressiveness towards you. It can be helpful sometimes, but when tried for rock lobsters they make you fail your lures :XD: Good luck!! Obtaurian
I guess my post is irrelevant at this point, but a wolper is definitely better than a geyser unless you happen to have 99 mage and not 99 ranged. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
aglips
Also it seems to be a bug where the Hexcrest and Focus Sight only work on monsters that require a slayer level to kill. That's probably why they both can be added on to the Slayer helm.
