February 26, 201016 yr Not sure if this is really RuneScape fan art since I took so many creative liberties, but whatever. It was inspired by RuneScape so there (and the scene is near the Chaos Temple in the wilderness if any of you actually know/remember where that is). It's my first time trying to draw/colour armour so go easy on me >_< I normally wouldn't call this done (I'd like to put more details/random [cabbage] in the background) but I'm pressed for time right now and need to get two other digital paintings done so I'm calling it done, though I may return to it at a later date. Also here's another painting from last week: Both of those are 25% of the original sizes btw. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

February 26, 201016 yr Author As always, you never cease to amaze us. :) You draw and color these in Photoshop, correct? Did you use any special brushes for the music sheets?Aw thanks :) Yes, these were all drawn and coloured in PhotoShop. In both pictures, I only used the hard round brush and soft airbrush.. except in the top picture I used a little bit of a custom brush on the ground. So no, no special brushes for the music sheets. I did, however, find real sheet music on Google and used some of the note patterns as a reference to make my own sheet music look realistic because I know [cabbage] about music notes and whatnot lol. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
February 26, 201016 yr Dharoks looks very similar to the downloads & wallpapers one, apart from that I love em ;)
February 26, 201016 yr I still love the trumpet one.And the armour is good too better than most people could do. Amazing work as always [spoiler=Clans]Current Events Leader of Tal Shiar AllianceCurrent Raid Leader of Wilderness GuardiansCurrent Old School Power Ranger of Team Power RangersCurrent Member of Clan EuropeEx Member of Team Dark Legacy (R.I.P)Ex Paladin of Old Age Militos DeciEx Leader of New Age Militos DeciEx Early Veteran of Pk Masters (R.I.P)
February 26, 201016 yr The colours are very bland in the first one, and the perspective does seem a bit off. You are really getting good though! I should learn how to use my tablet.
February 26, 201016 yr The second one is amazing. Especially with the hair in front of the fire to the left. Want to be my friend? Look under my name to the left<<< and click the 'Add as friend' button!Big thanks to Stevepole for the signature!^
February 26, 201016 yr Very nice, I really like the sky/background in both. In the first, his head seems a little out of proportion though.. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
February 26, 201016 yr They're both quite good, I dislike trumpets though and therefore must say I like the first one better. Like you said your armor details need some work; perspective on his left hand/side is a little off too. For some reason his helmet and face seem oddly shaped and I think he has a weird facial expression. sig by Soa.....tip.it times.....art & mediadeviantart/flickr/last.fm/steam/twitter/tumblr/youtube
February 26, 201016 yr Well first of all i really love the colors you've used in both of them  then there are some points that bug me: *his right (for us left) leg is shorter then his other leg, which makes hem look leaning backwards.*Again his right leg, the front of his/her foot is pointed to much backwards compared to the knee, which looks awfully painfull to me  * I agree with hawkxs about the head/face. However i actually know WHY it looks weird :P got an example highlighting the next points:1- Here is a to large and sudden difference in light/dark and because of that this side of the helm looks like its a 90 degree angle, which looks weird.2 - the horn is positioned to his right, not really in the right direction3- this can't be lighted if the part above his eyes isn't lighter too, which makes the part above his eyes look going backwards, which would crush his head :( 4 - i've just drawn how the foot should stand compared to how the knee is positioned right now I know there just really tiny things (the last 3) but i think those atleast would make it look a little bit better ;)
February 26, 201016 yr Author Thanks for the tips, rik! They're much appreciated. I have two more paintings to do and then I'll come back to this one and make some changes. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

February 28, 201016 yr Very well done paintings there. Very colorful, you did good job of keeping high contrast everywhere. My only suggestion is to add more texture to the rock ground where the warrior is standing on. Perhaps add wider openings where the lava is in, and elevate the ground unevenly so it has a more unstable look. (I'd probably just google rocky outcrops at volcano pics to help me out with that). The sky on the warrior pic is awesome. Pixel sigs by me.Pixel Art
March 2, 201016 yr The second one is fantastic Tripsis! The way you can pull of hair is incredible. I'm sure the way her hair is floating made it tough. It looks extremely natural, and the colors are great. Also, i really like how you color eyes. It was a lot more prominent in your Avatar project a couple weeks (i think) back, but these are good also.I need to finally break into PhotoShop. Effects like that cant be done well in Illustrator :P Enough rambling, A+ Trip :) Draw what you see, not what you think-you-see. --Carl Purcell
